Dr. Stephen Paul Murphy, MD

My years of being a patient with Dr. Murphy was fine up until the last several year where it became incredibly difficult to obtain an appointment to see him. The front desk staff while pleasant, triage the symptoms of the patience over the phone, recommend over the counter medications to take, and direct them to the emergency room all without you ever seeing or speaking to Dr. Murphy. When discussing the process with Dr. Murphy, he claims to have no knowledge. Dr. Murphy is a talented physician, but needs help.

Dr. Murphy is honest, caring and kind. He talks to me in a non-medical way. I feel comfortable. Also, my appointments are always on time. I don't sit in the waiting room for an hour or on the exam room table for an hour. His assistants are very caring and knowledgeable . I don't dread going to the doctor!

Great caring Doctor with a great caring staff. Always answered all of my questions and concerns. Always follow up on everything.

Amazing staff, they always answer the phones promptly! Whenever I call for a visit they tell me to come down. Fun office, they make you feel like family, even at your darkest , sickest moments

Had an appointment with doctor few weeks ago. Doctor was about half an hour late for my appointment to start with. I came to see him with worries that I might have thrombosis due to swollen,bruised leg.I was told to cut down on salt and as he wasn't sure about prognosis he sent me for an ultrasound which came clear. Few weeks later I received $500 as apparently insurance wouldn't cover a few mins visit to doctors and also a $350 bill for ultrasound which I didn't ask for. I assumed it was a preventive care visit which has no deductible, but it ended up being nightmare few mins visit costing me a day off work and also $500 in bills! I will not return and will not come for annual checks neither, will pick a different doctor who would not be late and who would inform me before sending me to hospital that insurance doesn't cover $500 ultrasound cost! I was not in pain, just worried and wanted to have a preventive care visit in case it was a thrombosis. Poor service and large bill which… now I have to pay. Very angry customer

Very friendly atmosphere. Doctor Murphy as well as his staff are a pleasure to visit. Wait time is minimal. Very professional office.

my opion is that dr murphy has great leadership qualities/also smart and overall the type of dct you look forward to greeting.his girls are very sharp and performe well under pressure.they take there time to get everthing correct.i would recommened their office to my piers

Love the staff there, everyone is kind and caring.my whoe family goes there.they are like family
