Summary
Dr. Samson completed his undergraduate work at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where he earned the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine. In addition, he is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry and a Fellow of the International College of Dentistry. He served as a Captain in the US Army Dental Corps.
He has been practicing dentistry for 40 years, and has been at his present Miami location for 38 years. His office staff includes two dental hygienists, two certified dental assistants, and an office manager.
Dr. Samson's volunteer work began in 1968 at the Lindsey Hopkins adult education center dental clinic. The organization is called the Dade County Dental Research Clinic, which was founded in 1946. The purpose of the clinic is to treat indigent patients, train dental assistants and teach graduate dentist and residents as part of their continuing education. Dr. Samson offers a wide variety of services for all ages including but not limited to: cosmetic dentistry, sedation dentistry, implant dentistry, TMJ - treatment of the bite, headaches, and jaw pain and other specialized areas.
"The biggest challenge in dentistry is showing a patient how the new improvements in dental science can be used to easily correct cosmetic issues," states Dr. Samson. "To meet this need we have created a no-cost cosmetic consultation to show how the health, comfort, and beauty of one's mouth, teeth, and smile, can be improved. When the work is completed the results will significantly enhance all aspects of a patient's daily life."
Dr. Samson enjoys helping others and volunteers for several organizations. His hobbies are sailing, photography and tennis. Dr. Samson is married, has two adult children, one granddaughter and resides in the Miami area.
