Dr. Stephen Faraz Shafizadeh, MD

I went to the ER with minimal symptoms and was diagnosed with a large brain tumor that due to its location posed a problem for some neurosurgeons and their hospitals. Dr. Shafizadeh took it upon himself to take my case, had a drain installed, life flighted me to his hospital where he removed the tumor and saved my life. I am recovering under his care and believe I am in the best of hands. His dedication and professionalism are unmatched. I will take my renewed life as an opportunity to "smell the roses" and appreciate everything I have to live for. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Shafizadeh and his staff (especially Larolin!)

I was seen at St Vincent in Sherwood by Dr Shafizadeh after my car wreck. I had a spine fracture and the surgery fixed that I had a quick recovery He is excellent If you have an injury he is the Dr. to see.

I had recent surgery on my neck with D. Shafizadeh. The surgery went planned as scheduled and I had no complications. I feel so much better and I am able to go back to playing pool with friends that I have not done since having major neck pain. Dr. Shafizadeh is very accurate, smart, direct with decision making and great bedside manner. Shannon his office assistant is very helpful AWESOME experience with both.

I went in with TIA symptoms, which Dr. Shafizadeh quickly diagnosed, scheduled for surgery, and performed the needed procedure on my Carotid artery. I continue to be impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of his team, and I would highly recommend the Dr. and his team. The only difficulty I had was the extensive waiting time on the follow up visit due to scheduling problems. Don't know what could be done about that, but the problem needs to be addressed for the sake of the practice.

Dr. Shafizadeh was very informative and helpful during my day at St. Vincent in Sherwood. My wife and I are very thankful for the care we received during and after the surgery. Dr.Shafizadeh is a wonderful Dr. and his assistant Shannon is so helpful and compassionate.

I had carpel tunnel syndrome in my left hand for years ! Due to COVID my surgery was put off. However Dr. Shafizadeh proceeded with caution this month to preform my surgery. The scheduling was prompt and efficient. Before my surgery and afterwards I cannot explain the amount of care that was given. Dr. Shafizadeh has also called to personally check on me after my surgery. Dr. Shafizadeh is the greatest at what he does and could not be any happier. Like

Dr. Shafizadeh preformed two surgeries on me this year. I had a stroke due to blood in my vessel and he went in and cleared it out then 3 months later he went back and cleaned out the other side. Dr. Shafizade is very good at explaining and helpful with my self and family needs.
