Dr. Stephen Edward Smith, MD

Dr. Smith is a wonderful eye doctor. The staff in his clinic are respectful and welcoming. They know what they are doing and do a wonderful job of explaining it to you as they do it. When you are seen by Dr. Smith he sits with you and ensures you are happy and well taken care of. I love this practice and recommend Dr. Smith to all my friends and family!

I LOVED Dr. Smith. He was so helpful and kind. He helped me understand my problems and then gave me treatment options for it. He listened to my concerns and help to calm me down. He was able to get me started on my treatment! I could not recommend a better doctor.

Visited the office yesterday. My eyes are a huge frustration to me. The assistant spent approximately 2 minutes determining my "prescription." When I said, but I still can't see clearly at that spot. She said, "Well, that 's the best we can do. I can only work with what you tell me." Quickly she did the test again and said, "See?!" I said, "NO." Then she left. The doctor came in and quickly said a few things to his assistant, noted that I had cataracts to her. Then, said goodbye. I'm like, wait, I can't see clearly. He again said, well, that's the best we can do. He never checked the prescription that the assistant had determined. I said I had questions about cataracts - big deal for me - he said, "it's age related." But doctor, what do I do. He dismissed my question and said just to watch it. But what is it? I am not going to my insurance company and asking them for approval for another eye exam at an eyedoctor that is interested in helping me see.

I was talked into dry eye treatment (not covered by insurance) and reached out to dr Smith by patient portal raising concerns about my treatment. After several failed attempts to get a response, I asked for a refund. My eyes are more irritated after the treatment than before, and they don’t seem to care enough to even respond to any of my messages

Great first time experience for my son who is only 6 yrs old. Staff and Dr Smith were very kind and patient.

Very attentive staff. Caring and informs you on any delays in your appointment. Technicians know what they are doing and make sure they are up to date on your medical history. Doctor is very attentive and available to answer all your questions.
