Dr. Stephen P Snow, MD

My wife got delivered by Dr. Stephen Snow, worst doctor on the planet of earth. My wife was in active labor, and he disappeared for two hours, then he shows up stitches my wife up wrong, the episiotomy repair breakdown and we are back in the hospital two days later with stool passing through her vagina. He never stated he was sorry. My wife had been through 18 surgeries...yes 18...and we had to go to Weston, fl so we can actually treat with great doctors. Women's Care Florida which owns Delaney OBGYN does not care about women's health, they underinsure themselves and their doctors, and they force you to pay in full at 24 weeks or they refuse treat you further, read their workers reviews of working there. They are a patient mill, do yourself a favor and educate yourself on them. If something goes wrong they wash their hands of you, and basically say we are underinsured, so oh well. You are better off going to a butcher, or the Vet you would be better off.

Run away while you still can!!! The front desk staff is horrible, they are rude. Half the time when you call you get forwarded to voicemail, and it takes days for them to return your call. The worst part is that all they seem to care about is payment, I totally understand that they don't practice medicine for free but they make you pay for services BEFORE they're rendered!! I had to pay $1400 when I was 5 months pregant to "ensure delivery" of my baby, well I ended up changing insurances before I delivered and they wouldn't refund me the difference, I should Hv gotten $900 back. And then they have the audacity to ask me for $3 for a blood draw!! You have got to be kidding me. I'm pretty sure you'd get better service and medical treatment if you went to the health department! Hope you take this warning seriously!

It has been a while since I had Dr. Snow deliver my baby. I still regret that decision. He was callous, uncaring and a smart butt. His level of care at a time I was pretty much helpless was not only negligible, but demeaning as well. He takes advantage of the vulnerable state you are in during delivery in both medical practice and verbal abuse. It is as if he hates his job. I too had complications that were not addressed till much later. Any joy I had seeing my wonderful little Son after birth was severely clouded with the unfortunate choice I made years ago. If I had to do it all over again, I would have written to the Med. Board for at minimum, an investigation. It is still a painful memory because of Dr. Snow, and I have regrets. I cannot list all that he said and did during my labor and delivery, but if you were to read it, you would cringe.

Dr. Snow has been my physician for approximately 6 years and has given me outstanding care! Not only did he care for me during my high risk pregnancy of twins, he has taken care of my gynecological needs as well. He is straight forward, to the point, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. On a lighter note, he has great bedside manner and a fabulous personality! You won't find a better OB/GYN!

I am a patient of another doctor at Delaney OBGYN and had the unfortunate luck of going into labor during labor day weekend when Dr. Snow was the doctor on call. Out of all the doctors at the practice he was the one we had met before and did not like, as he seemed totally unconcerned with anything and rushed us right out of his office after a ten second greeting (literally). Upon seeing him at the hospital he was extremely rude to the nurses and staff, who were visibly nervous to be working with him. He seemed extremely angry from the start, and I was very uncomfortable being in his care. This being my first child, I labored for an hour or two with pitocin and had only progressed two more cm, so he came in and abruptly told us we'd give it a little while longer and then we were done. When I asked what that meant he simply said c-section. . Luckily, the nurses helped me progress rather quickly to ten centimeters and he came in just in time for the delivery. As I was ending my labor… and delivering the baby, I felt everything despite having an epidural. As I told him this repeatedly he told me that I was just feeling pressure. After delivery he immediately stitched me up with zero anesthesia, telling the nurse who ran to get the lydacane that he didn't have time to wait for that. This was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life, and it continued to get worse after I had delivered the baby. An hour later, long after he had left the hospital, the nurses realized I had been hemorrhaging from a cervical laceration and had lost at least 2 liters of blood. As I started to crash on the table a team of doctors came in, including the chief of anesthesia who realized I had had no epidural because my catheter line had kinked, he quickly put me under and they performed emergency surgery and gave me a blood transfusion. Upon Dr. Snow returning to the hospital during surgery he reported to my family in the waiting room that he had already gone home and had been watching a football game. This man is not caring enough to have a job preparing food for people, let alone being a doctor who has people's lives in his hands. I hope I never have to see him again in my life and that no one else has to go through what I did.
