Dr. Stephen Andrew Stache JR., MD

Dr. Stache uses time with a patient efficiently. He shares X-rays and explains the status of an injury clearly and concisely without rushing you. His warmth and clear enjoyment of his work inspires confidence and made my visits to him pleasant an d always beneficial. I would recommend him to any of my friends.

Knows his stuff and takes the time to explain it to you. I've seen him for two different sports related injuries. He is not quick to recommend surgery or shots or other quick fixes. One issue was resolved by an ultrasound guided cortisone shot after a few months of physical therapy did not have it healed back to 100%. The other was resolved (so far) by one in office cortisone shot.

I went to see Dr. Stache discouraged and in pain. I left Dr. Stache with much less pain and hopeful. I think this says it all.

Dr. Stache was friendly, understanding and helpful during every visit. I felt comfortable seeing him and asking him whatever questions I had.

I was sent to Dr. Stache at the referral of my primary care physician after breaking a bone in my foot. He was able to fit me in right away and while the news of the break was disappointing, he laid out the road to recovery from the beginning and he was right on with the timeline. Setting my expectations made the long recovery process more tolerable. I liked his overall approach and have since recommended him to a few of my friends. I also plan to go back to him for a separate issue.

I went to Dr. Stache at Rothman for a second opinion. I had broken my ankle during the first ice storm this past winter. I was seen locally, was put in a cast and was immediately scheduled for surgery. Dr. Stache removed the painful cast and had a new cast put on my leg. It was not painful and I didn't need surgery. Dr. Stache sent me for PT and I am fully functioning. I am so thankful that I got the second opinion.

Dr Stache was able to dianose my condition just by gathering verbal information from me...and fully confirmed my condition after a full and thorough examantion. I felt completely satisfied with the results of my visit...
