Dr. Stephen Norman Sturn, MD

Dr. Sturn is one of the best doctors in the world. He is very concerned about your health. His diagnosis has saved my life and our daughter's life. He takes time to answer questions and even draw diagrams to be sure you understand, this is rare.

Dr. Sturn is a very learned doctor and is the type of physician who takes the time to educate you as to exactly what your medical conditions may be. Aside from that, he takes the time to know you as a person. You never get the impression that he is trying to rush you out of his office. He is one of the most gracious human beings you can ever know.

Dr. Sturn is a real treasure in a world filled with unfeeling medical staff. Dr. Sturn is a real person. He takes the time to check you out thoroughly but also takes the time to get to know you as a person. He genuinely cares and is the type of person and doctor that you look forward to seeing. As long as I am alive, he is the one who I will trust with my health.

I cannot say enough positive and good things about this doctor and his office. I called as a new patient, and as soon as I described my situation, his receptionist Dulce was able to work me in before I ran out of my medication. She was extremely friendly and accommodating. Dr. Sturn runs a different type of office. He worked with me one on one for everything--no nurses or physician's assistants. He spent extra time with me to make sure I fully understood the treatment plan, and suggested a follow-up visit. Dulce was very accommodating when making my follow-up appointment as well.

Great doctor who genuinely cares and spends time discussing things. I do have to agree with all the comments on staff/reception. I'm quite certain it is his mother, which is understandable, but she really does need to learn to be more friendly and customer-oriented, especially when someone is sick. We are patients, not some annoyance.

Let start of by saying this is the first time I have ever taken my time to give a review. I have had some really bad experiences in my time but none thus far for me to go online and review. I waited for over 50 minutes before I went up to the reception desk and asked if I could reschedule my appt. in the nicest manner I asked the lady at the desk could I reschedule because I only blocked out a certain amount of time for today. She gave me a dirty look and asked what time I got there. I told her what time and explained to her I understand he is probably busy and it wasn't a problem to reschedule. She turned her back and walked away. Before I read wrote this review I read the previous reviews and it was probably his mother and he spends a lot of time with his patience. Is it really the doctor that wants to create that personal feel without nurses or is he cutting cost by having his mother as the office "everything". As a patient I guess it is your preference. But long waipatient allowing… your mother to run of your patients

Dr. Sturn is what A general practitioner used to be before the field of medicine adopted the fast food model of patient care.If you want a doctor to listen, ask you questions, answer yours and take a general interest in you as a patient. If you don't want to be hustled in and out of the exam room with a hastily scribbled prescription in your hand then Dr. Sturn is for you.

I have been a patient of Dr. Stephan Sturn since 2006. I initially selected him based on network options and the fact that his office was close to my employment, just south of UCF. His office manager is his mother; and though she is very nice and friendly, she doesn't necessarily have the professional polish and technical skills one might typically find in a doctor's office. One of the things I really like about Dr. Sturn is that he spends time with you. He doesn't have a staff of nurses that are taking your vitals and asking you the questions--only to have a doctor come in briefly and make the diagnosis. Dr. Sturn is a one-man show, which I really like. I once asked him about this, and he said it's a lifestyle choice--that this is the way he wants to run his practice, without feeling he is just going from one room to the next, spending 5 minutes with each patient. So you feel as though you are visiting with the old-fashioned family doctors who got to know you through the years. My… recommendation is to give him a try.

I love Dr. Sturn, but his office manager/reception (which I think is his mother or else a closely related family member) is horrible. She has no concept of customer service whatsoever. Every time I call, or ask for help getting information, she acts as if I'm inconveniencing her and getting her to help me is like pulling teeth. It's become so bad I've decided to switch doctors. It's too bad, because like I said I love this doctor, he's great, there is never any wait time, but his officer manager just cost him a patient.

This doctor should have his license revoked.
