Dr. Stephen Wise Unger, MD

Dr Unger told me in the hall of the hospital that my Mom was going to died in two days. Forget HIPAA!!! Forget empathy... no bed manners. After taking my Mom out of his care to another hospital, she fought her cancer for another 4 months. She passed with dignity with all her love ones with her, no thanks to Dr. Unger. He is a cold fish, arrogant, non empathetic doctor, with no listening skills. He needs serious training on Patient Centered Care. The worst... I work in a hospital and my Mom was a caring physician, I can say without a doubt that Dr Unger may have tittles but has no sensitivity to suffering.

Dr Unger performed life-saving surgery on my femoral artery; after a full recovery, I feel gratitude every day for his saving my life

Still in initial stages but am impressed by the professionalism of Dr. Unger and his staff.

I have never given a review on a doctor before. I had gallbalter surgery last week by Dr Unger. He assured me that their was a 99% chance he could do it laproscopically even after my abdominal surgery in the past. The surgery was a little longer than if I never had abdominal surgery due to the scar tissue from the last surgery. I had bad pain for a few days, I called his office and he called me back within an hour and then later on that day to make sure I was OK. It is a day later (Saturday) and he called me again to check on me.he truly is the best and I would highly recommend him for his surgical ability and bed side manner.

appoint set and twice I had to wait over 2 hours to see doctor. Staff not very Sympathetic and act as if they are doing you a favor. My time is just as important as the staffs and doctors. Really need to teach staff how to be more friendly with patients and maybe smile more often then thing won't seem as bad.
