Worst doctor I've ever seen

If I could have my day back - I'd take it back. I wasted my time with this guy. He had an intern in the exam room with us and kept talking about me as if I wasn't even there. I felt like a lab rat as he discussed everything with her. He insisted that I tell him if my parents were living or not, how many years I finished in college - things that have NOTHING to do with my recent diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease, he suggested that my seizure disorder ( which I was NOT in there to address) was due to PTSD because my father spanked me when I was a child. I felt completely disrespected. So after speaking with me for a whole 15 minutes and speaking ABOUT me (to the intern) for another 10, he diagnosed me as mentally ill, did NOTHING to address the Parkinson's ( the reason I went in there in the first place) told me I had more hair than he did ( who doesn't?), and made me feel like a laboratory monkey in the way he handled everything. I would NEVER go back to this guy. If I could… give him MINUS stars - I would. He's an idiot.

I have an aggresive form of M.S. I'm from Utah and my Doctures in Utah said it was one of the worst cases he'd seen. I was on multiple dugs trying to slow it down, but nothing worked. I could bearly walk, talk, and spent most my time in a wheelchair. Then along came Doctor Vincent who had seen worse. He also saw that it was aggresive. So he purscibed the strongest medicine out there. Lamtrada, now I can walk agian. At home I walk without my cane. I can talk clearly, and I can now make my way up and down stairs. It's good to have a Doctor on your side, and not see you as just a paycheck.

I can not sing his praises enough. What others would not hear...he did ! He sent me to University hospital in Utah to see a special surgeon. I was told I would have been in a wheel chair within 6 months, or had a stroke. Before going to Dr.Vincent, I had seen several doctors with no real answers. Mainly ...because they did not listen. He does !

My health history is very long and significant with serious symptoms. He was not very interested in listening to my history. I had brought records with me and he had no interest in them. He quickly got me out of the office. Had me do some labs a few days later. I got a call from his nurse with my results. She told me that he said there is nothing else he can do for me. Nothing at all about any other type of testing or recommendation as to what direction I should take. It took a lot for me to decided to seek help and this experience felt like a slap in the face.

I was highly impressed with Dr. Vincent he is very knowledgeable yet he has an excellent beside manner and puts things in lay man terms so you can understand. I went to see Dr. Vincent with several health ailments he went over each condition thoroughly. Dr. Vincent is also very compassionate and empathetic I would recommend him as a neurologist or sleep medicine doctor to any one. Thank you Dr. Vincent

I would refer dr vincent to everyone i know with ms. I think he is very smart and cares about my quality of living with ms. he and his nurse cathy have done extensive work in helping me get funding for the medications i could not afford. I drive from out of state to go to my three month appointments because i feel he is a quality physician in his field. 5 stars for him and his nurse cathy.

Dr. Vincent would'nt see me anymore, because I saw another Dr. for a second oponion. I was really frightend about having m.s. I was in denile. I needed this to accept my new sickness. It worked. I wanted to come back to Dr. Vincent. He said, He will not see patients, who leave his office. I was not welcomed back. I feel, this was very unprofessional.

Worth the wait
