Dr. Stephen James Vreeke, MD

Dr. was fine but I was not told that I would be charged for things I was asked to talk about, like any ailments I've been having. I'm on a fixed income and I should have been told that I would be charged for such things.

My doctor of many years recently passed away. I can't speak to the ability of the doctors at this facility, they are probably all very excellent. My concern is that if I go to see a doctor, I want to see a doctor, not a P.A. I'm certain that the charges are not reduced because you've seen someone other than a doc. I also feel that there others who feel the same, Thanks.

They couldn't even get a simple blood draw correct. Received a phone call the day afterwards telling me to come back in again as they did not draw enough blood the first time. Other then that I have had two so-called exams by a PA that totaled less then five minutes combined at a cost of over $140 out of my pocket besides what my insurance paid.

Dr. Vreeke became my PCP two years ago and I am happy to say that I finally have a doctor that I feel I can trust. He spends an appropriate amount of time with me, never seems rushed or distracted and really listens, He is not a doctor that just wants you in and out nor is he fast to just throw a prescription at you. He makes me feel at ease and has given me great advice on some minor health concerns. Very happy to have him as my PCP.

My title says it all "the BEST" regarding Dr. Stephen Vreeke. My husband has been a patient of his for almost 11 years, and as for myself, the past 2 years. I have never known a physician quite like him. He has so much medical knowledge that he shares in ways that we can completely comprehend. He has never rushed either one of us and shows a truly caring attitude.

Recently retired and moved to this area. The office is conveniently located with on-site lab facilities. Very impressed with Dr. Vreeke and his staff. Professional, pleasant and helpful, across the board. My wife and I are fortunate to have found Dr. Vreeke and the Smithson Valley Family Clinic for our health care!

Spent very little time during assessment and staff were very rude

I never got to see the doctor because the bad thing about this place is the office staff. I was charged 100.00 for appointment cancellations. I have four kids. They charge 25.00 per child when cancelling an appointment!! I just moved to this area and was looking for a new doctor. They should have told me about this terrible policy when making my appointments. I never had a doctor office do this to me. The office staff was rude to me when I told them that I shouldnt have to pay 100.00 for this! I hadnt even been seen yet. I am sure the doctor is good, but why should I pay 100.00 for nothing?

An overall great experience at this Doctor's office.

I have yet to meet the doctor! Always see the P.A. when I am sick and they take good care of me. However, the office staff has mishandled paperwork more often than not, and actually been rude on several occasions. We will not return due to the office staff.
