Dr. Stephen Eugene Weis

I had my first visit with Dr. Weis this week and I was impressed with him. He seemed knowledgeable and was willing to answer my questions and explain his answers. I trust him as a doctor.

He is educated and experienced however his bedside manners are appalling. He is very rude and will not listen to you. He made mean comments about personal matters. Specifically regarding my social anxiety which causes intense flushing on my face and chest. He immediately attributed my flushing to not following instruction while using a topical. When I defended myself he said "I will take your word for it". He mentioned "I should go to therapy". I mentioned I take medication for my anxiety, which he replied "just like an American popping pills". He will not treat you with kindness. Forget about defending yourself because he won't let you; very dehumanizing. The only positive aspect of my appointments is his diligence to get you proper treatment...if he lets you explain. I have thought about making this review for a few weeks. Therefore, I have let the initial feelings dissipate and am still very bothered by my experience. This is a profession in which people need help. People are at… their most venerable, this behavior should not exist, and is even more appalling from a medical professional.

I will never go back to see dr. Weis ever again. He is very rude, condescending, and arrogant. He has a very poor bedside manner. He crossed too many boundaries in yesterday's visit. It won't happen again.

Dr. Weis has a TERRIBLE bedside manner and he is SO arrogant and uncaring! Don't waste your time going to him. In fact he was so rude to me that I left his office CRYING because of him. I've had a reoccurring issue with my face, hair and nails for about 2 years. I've been told by my primary care physician that it is some type of autoimmune disorder so she sent me to 'this guy' to figure it. He spent all of maybe 4 minutes with me total (in 3 visits) and told me there was nothing I could do for my hair loss or nails falling off...but for me to come in the office immediately the day I started showing symptoms of the rash on my face and they would do a biopsy. So next breakout....I called on a Thurs, on a Fri and on a Monday....NO ANSWER or CALL BACK after leaving numerous messages and even sending pictures of my face to them through email. I finally got an appt on Tues but the outbreak was already starting to heal so I knew the biopsy wasn't going to show what it would have if I was… able to come in earlier...like I tried my best to do. I was right...the biopsy didn't show anything so then he proceeded to tell me that it was all MY fault this was happening and that I must just 'picking at my face' and I need to go get on ANXIETY TREATMENT! I was appalled, devastated and humiliated by this so-called Doctor. HE NEVER EVEN DREW MY BLOOD FOR TESTING IN ANY OF MY 3 OFFICE VISITS! My last (and final) appt when he was throwing all of those accusations at me....I asked him to please run an A&A panel or some type of blood work to see if THAT might explain something. He said it would be a waste of their money!! (keep in mind I have insurance!) He knew absolutely nothing about me at all (like I said, he spent no more than 5 min with me ever) but he threw his inaccurate opinions around like they were truth just because the biopsy didn't show anything and because I was advocating for myself! That man didn't want to find out the root cause of my skin condition or anything else. He had already formed his own (WRONG) opinion about me and that was that. He did not want to help me at all and I have never been treated so poorly by a medical professional as I was Dr. Weis. I strongly urge any patients to find a different doctor to treat you....one who CARES about taking care of his patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Stephen Weis for over 25 years. He listens and engages in conversation to best understand my health needs and has always treated me with the utmost respect.

I came to Dr Weis with itching and bruises from where i was itching from. I've been to 2 Dr's and the ER and no one could help me. I was told about Dr Weis and the knowledge he has and was so excited when i got in with him. He's a very smart man,knowledge of his practice and knew excatly what was wrong. I was so happy to hear that someone knew what was wrong. Diffently a great Dr to go too.

Would not go back. He repeats himself everytime I go there, as if he forgets that he already told me that same info
