If your work sends you to see this doctor you need to hire an attorney. Immediately.  Finish reading this review and then find an attorney. You don’t have to pay an attorney upfront for workers comp cases. They get paid when they collect.   This isn’t a Doctor that actually treats anybody.  He doesn’t have a patient base. Waiting room is empty. Phones aren't ringing. No nurses in sight. No one would actually make an appointment because they are sick or injured. He can’t write a prescription, order any tests, or give any referrals. In fact, he won't even say a word to you about your injury during or after the exam. It's all in silence and no medical advice is given.   He is simply a hired gun by your work insurance company to say that you are fine, regardless of your level of injury, to return back to work. The insurance company can't do it themselves, so they have to hire someone with the letters M and D after his name to do it for them. This allows the insurance company to… immediately stop all of your medical benefits and force you to return to work even though you may still be injured.  I went to my appointment and sure enough about a week later in his written report was given to my jobs insurance company. According to him I was perfectly fine and was okay to return to work.  My  employer immediately cut off my benefits and medical care.  I went without getting paid.  As for the actual exam, he missed some major injuries in my shoulder. A week later my own treating doctors were able to find severe and permanent damage to the area that he said was completely fine and uninjured.  His medical skills are completely worthless. He missed major clues that were right in front of him. There is a reason he doesn’t have a patient base and only does these types of biased examinations.  If he was even halfway decent, he would’ve caught that there was a major issue going on with me. But he missed it. And that's why he does what he does.  As for your exam, be prepared. Get a copy of your own medical records before you go. Read them. Remember the dates and symptoms reported. He twisted mine to say that I waited weeks to be seen by my doctor. I had to point out to him that he was missing records, that I was seen within 5 days of injury. He will dictate his report in front of you into his iPhone. He tries to skim over things, or say things inaccurately. You will have to interrupt him and make corrections. As an example, lets say you injured your shoulder and elbow. He will only ask you about the shoulder and never ask anything about the elbow. Then his report will say that you had no complaints about the elbow. Be firm, but be kind. He is rude to you, but you can take the higher ground. After he is done, he will say the exam is over and you can leave. Keep an eye for any vans or cars with tinted windows parked near the dumpster on your way out. It's likely a private investigator hired by the insurance company to take some video of you and maybe follow you. After all, this is the one time they know exactly where and when you'll be. Welcome to the world of work comp. Now go find that lawyer!

Let's remember that as an IME his job is to buffer your claims of pain with the insurance companies claims of not being responsible. He was extremely professional while being clear that he is there for his professional opinion, not your life story. His report was fair and accurate and left no questions unanswered.

He was not only the rudest physician I've ever dealt with as a patient, but may well be the rudest human being with whom I have ever dealt. Never made eye contact much less address me in a polite or even civilized manner. I am a health professional and would never dream of treating a patient like he did. He got one star only because the form didn't allow for less.

was fair, seems to be a matter of fact kind of dr, wants just the facts. yes he works for the insurance co but treat him with respect and he seems to do the same .

I will never let anyone speak to me the way he tried to speak to me!! He was the rudest person I have met. This was for an IME visit in other words I haws sent by my employer. I am still a human being no matter where I get hurt. He was an idiot!!!! I walked out work comp or not you won't talk to me that way!!
