I met with Dr. Gonzalez only one time concerning a fatty liver. He referred me to a study where a liver biopsy was performed. It was the doctor's choice to be the one to contact me concerning the results instead of the research staff. I was promised to receive the results within a week to two weeks. On my fourth week of waiting I called the research staff who did tell me the stage I was at but Dr. Gonzalez wanted to discuss the results with me. After I called his office twice and his personal phone I finally got him to return my call after he complained to the research staff that they had given me his phone number other than his office. Basically, Dr. Gonzalez had no constructive suggestions for me except to lose weight; no weight counseling or other assistance was offered. Yes, I expect more consideration to an anxious patient and his/her family instead of brushing me off as doctors in the medical field have done for 40 years.

Dr is great! However the staff displays a very non-caring attitude. They DO NOT care about the patient, issue erroneous information, and do not make any efforts to correct it or satisfy patient needs.

The first doctor to listen to me. I'll never be able to show enough appreciation. I know that I am not crazy and I'm not dying anytime soon. He is straightforward and thorough.
