Dr. Steven Patterson Ash, MD

His bedside manner and attitude as a doctor is very poor. He is very rough when doing prostate exams and appears rushed to move on to another appointment. I am seeing quality in doctors deteriorating because these practices are more and more moving into groups of doctors for reasons I think are Based on malpractice insurance precautions. It is sad that the quality of care has suffered as a result. You also have too look at the doctors age when choosing one because experience is now not essential but the latter, what patient care still means, rather than waiting for retirement and making the best bucks possible Not just for them, but the office staff who follow them like sheep and see you like the boss does, greenbacks. You should look for younger doctors with upto date practices. It’s all sad.

Well let me tell you the Front Office ladies are AWESOME, the Nurses in the back are AWESOME and let me tell you Doctor Ash is Incredible AWESOME bedside manner he really know his Business when it come to Urology. I was his patient for more than 8 years. my PSA was 5.5 when I contacted him .My PSA was going higher and higher over the years. He put me on antipoetic few times and kept saying that I have prostates . then the PSA starts getting higher and higher 9.1 to 13.5 to 18.7 . Then, he suggested to keep me on antipoetic for more time , by that time I have recognized that I need to find another DR. My new Dr. told me that I have cancer, 2 weeks later the biopsy confirmed that I have stage 4 cancer and the cancer was moved to the bones . I was giving 5 to 10 years to live. My new Dr . told me that what happened to me could easily be avoided . If you are seeing Dr. Steven Ash then you are Not in good hands and expect the worst.

If you think to deal with Dr. Steven Ash . think hundred time before you decide to contact his office for an appointment .

Dr. Ash is a fantastic provider. He is patient and knowledgeable about his area. He listens and helps you decide the best treatment for you, instead of telling you what you need to do. The wait times can be on the longer side, but I have noticed the staff is almost all new in the last 6 months or so. It was a very welcome change as they are fantastic!

I've been going to Doctor Ash for the last 10 plus years. He's been first class in every category. Some people would complain if Jesus Christ was their doctor.

I have no complaints against the doctor, but I had to wait 2 1/2 hours to see him. Ridiculous! The staff just kept saying there was 3 new patients ahead of me. What does that matter?

They send you to an imaging facility down the hall which will charge as much as $27,000 for one cat scan. Be careful!

We found him helpful. Didn't appreciate the long wait time and lack of follow up though. Overall an effective visit
