Dr. Steven Donald Bischof, DO

Dr Bischof is retired now but he was a great dr. Sad to see him go .

I have seen him several times, and he is always to the point. He has treated all my illnesses quickly and timely.

I really like that you can talk to Dr. Bischof without feeling like just another patient. He seems to really take interest in your symptoms and will follow-up on recommendations.

Did not listen to my husband complain;his medical advice was below the minimum standard of care.I would never recommand him.Run away .

THE DOCTOR IS VERY GOOD AS FOR AS I'M CONCERN.THE WAIT TIMES DOSE NOT ALWAYS BE 15 MINUTES.IT SOMETIMES BE SOONER.

Did not appreciate the unprofessional, uncaring, unkind attitude of receptionist JS. Lose the attitude!

Dr. Bischof is a good doctor but I think he is stretched to the breaking point. He only spends 5 or 10 minutes at the most in the room with me. He tries to make an accurate diagnosis with the limited information that he collects in that small amount of time. Usually it is right but he didn't spend enough time on my problem the last time and it almost meant me losing my life. In addition he makes me feel like I am crazy even though I feel like his diagnosis is wrong or if I go in too often. I should see him more often but since I don't like being made to feel crazy I don't see him as much as I should. :(

I'm an elderly male with diabetes and hypertension. When my prescriptions ran out for multiple drugs and syringes, Dr. Bischof's office refused to refill them.. without a call to me with an explanation. I went many days without meds. I'll always be a diabetic, At the very least, this doctor should have prescribed a limited amount of meds until I could be seen. In my opinion, this doctor ranks income over patient care. I am waiting for an appointment at another doctor's office. I'll never go back to Dr. Bischof.

Office staff is TERRIBLE!! First experience 2 years ago, the lady just "forgot" to send in my referral to an OB when I moved into town, and I was already 25wks pregnant. Took over 2 weeks for them to send off my paperwork, and I had to go up to the office numerous time and give them repeat information. Another experience on trying to get a referral to a walk in clinic, when I called they told me I didn't know what I was talking about (when I had a paper with the info from my insurance company) and told me that they needed my baby to be quiet and proceeded to yell at me when I made a smart comment about him being a baby and that wasn't going to happen. I will NEVER call them or see them again, they lost a patient and have 2 formal complaints put in about them.
