I had outstanding care from Dr. Burnett. Would have given more than 5 stars if possible.

Dr Burnett well versed in the field of dermatology and has excellent bedside manors! I highly recommend this doctor !

I went to Dr. Burnett's office for him to check if a bump on my face that had changed color was cancerous. He concluded that it was just trapped blood in a pimple. He prescribed a bar of drying soap and gave me instructions to use for 2 weeks on the affected area. He said that should take care of it. Before he left the room, he changed his mind and decided to drain it. He said, it was unnecessary, but it may go away faster. I paid for the visit and the soap before I left. Two months later I get a bill for $121, discounted from $150. I called the billing department to pay it, and to ask why I wasn't informed of the extra cost before something the doctor deemed unnecessary was performed. I asked her to inform her office that it may be good practice to let their patients know about the cost before deciding to perform unnecessary procedures. Many doctors that I've been to, do talk to patients about the cost vs. necessity of a procedure before it is done. In a rude tone, she… told me I should always expect to be charged extra for any procedures done at a doctors office, and for me to tell the doctor himself during my next visit. I agree that I should have known that it would be an extra cost, which was why I was calling to pay for it. However, when patients go to a doctor's office for a cancer diagnosis, they usually have other things in their mind, such as, do I have cancer? what am I going to do If I have cancer? I was only making a suggestion, there is no need to be rude about it. In short, Dr. Burnett and his front office that helped me were pleasant. However, they could be more informative about their charges before they perform unnecessary procedures. So that other patients are spared from my fate of unwittingly paying an additional $121 for the doctor to pop my purple pimple. Also, wouldn't hurt if the person at billing loses her rude attitude. Rating factor: - minus 1 star for not being informative about cost before performing a procedure - minus 2 stars for the rude billing department Suggestions: When someone provides a suggestion for your office over the phone, assure them that you will bring it to the attention of the manager, and not tell them to go do it themselves, then implying to them that it's fine to leave a bad review online, because you will just reply to it.

Angry nurse treats people poorly. Burnett has no control, and patients leave in tears. Will never go back.

Do not go to this office - the woman in the Billing Dept is extremely unprofessional and rude!!

Dr Burnett assessed and diagnosed my skin issue within minutes and was able to prescribe medications that actually corrected my problem. I would recommend him to family and friends . It is hard to find dermatologists with expertise such as Dr Burnett !

Dr. Burnett is very knowledgeable, he is caring and really spent his time with me. I also was introduced to his PA Brandon. Brandon was very professional and knowledgeable as well. I really enjoyed my experience there and would highly recommend them to everyone!
