Dr. Steven J Cohen, MD

Dr. Cohen does not like to refer to a specialist. He told us during an office visit that he didn't have the answer, but he would, "check his textbook." During another office visit, I asked what the side effects were on a medication he was prescribing my child. He got angry, stormed out of the room and slammed the door on my child and I during our office visit. Horrible bedside manner, highly egotistical and doesn't want to take the time to answer questions.

Is patient and has a good bedside manner. However, does not like to refer out if unable to diagnose your childs issue(s). Unavailable most of the time which means you have to see other Dr.'s whom do not know your child(ren). This poses a problem when they have more than an ear infection. Also, does not follow-up.

The doctor was very informative, spent a ton of time with my daughter, and was very prompt in getting back to us with test results and scheduling follow-up appointments. I was not impressed with the wait time on hold when calling the office, but they took my question to the doctor and called me back within the hour.Overall, I was very pleased with my experience with Dr. Cohen.

Dr. Cohen is always good at taking the time to answer all questions you may have. Always willing to explain his diagnosis and treatments thoroughly.

I have had Dr Cohen for my children for 20 years and have never been disappointed in his medical knowledge and willingness to listen to my concerns. He is always available to answer questions patiently and thoroughly.
