Dr. Steven Henry Deschner, MD

Does anyone know where Dr Deschner (& Bonnie) iate now located?? I will not ever believe that the DEA closing them up was justified!! They were both following all guidelines & were very strict on following DEA rules. I started out with him at VCU Spine Center, they released Dr Deschner & shut down totally. I finally found Dr Deschner at Richmond Pain Center. Dr Deschner left to open his & Mrs Deschner's own practice. Richmond Pain Center then closed. I started with the Deschner's new practice. Saw Bonnie there & then the DEA shut them down. So wrong, destroying Physicans and leaving Chronic Pain Patients with no help, no where to go. Shutting down Pain Management Drs & leaving chronic pain patients with no where to turn for help, The DEA is in the wrong. Chronic Pain Patients are treated as less than humans!!

Dr.Deschner and his wife Bonnie were the nicest people.they really cared.i dont know what happened to them but i wish them the best...thank u both for helping me.

I have the same experience and opinion as most of the patients seen by Dr. Deschner. He and his wife were very thorough and professional. I always felt like they were genuinely concerned about me and my physical health. I don't know what I am supposed to do now. I still don't have access to my medical records from their office and no other doctor will see me without those records. If anyone knows how we can get our medical records from Dr. Deschners office please post on here.

I have been seeing Dr.Deschner for about 7 years an he is the best doctor that I have ever had an i got hurt in 2000 so I been to a lot of doctors i have great respect for him an his wife an it's not right what the DEA is doing they do not care about anybody that's in real pain

I like the time he will spend with me. I know he cares and asks me what is going on and rates my pain on as scale from 1 to 10 and explains to me how a pain chart works.

First off Dr. Deschner is a very good dr he takes time to listen and he doe's care for his patients and i've seen him for 5years . I don't no why he left he told me he was missing Texas so maybe he's went home .I guess i'll call his cell and find out what happened and i'll let everyone no . And the staff should have gave you a number to get your medical records but if not i'll get it and post it for you . I don't no where to go no for pain treatment so if anyone knows any clinics that dont charge an arm and leg let me no .and if dr Deschner didn't care for patients he'd be charging 500.00 like the rest of the Drs do not a lousy 160.00

I also have been seeing Steve D.for several years, starting over at V C U .I got my call on Sept.19, telling me that my appointment for the next morning had been cancelled .I asked several questions of the caller all of which were answered "we can not discuss that or any thing else." No rescheduling ,no suggesting other Dr.s,no offer to transfer records, no nothin'....How about a little help..somebody?

What happened to he office. Out of the blue he shut down.

I have been a patient of Dr Deschner for about four years now. He has always been a caring and knowledgeable physician. My first visit he ran me trough a battery of tests and reviewed my MRI as well as all my previous medical record to determine the best course of treatment for me. When he changed offices, there were some issues with the office staff but that was worked out about a year ago. I have seen many doctors over the years to treat my condition but Dr Deschner is one of the best when it comes to the proper treatment as well as quality of life.

Not only does this doctor take time to listen...but he genuinely cares about his patients. He gives you options and doesn't make you pay a fortune for those injections that NEVER work.
