Dr. Steven F Duane

Fantastic physician, blessed to have him as my doctor.

I was terrified when I was first diagnosed with colon cancer in 2006. Dr. Duane was like my life raft in a flood. Simply put, I have never met anyone so kind, respectful, knowledgeable. I always looked forward to seeing him, which is a little peculiar since he was treating my cancer! He had a way of making me feel that everything would turn out okay, regardless of the outcome. I feel that I was blessed to have him as my oncologist for 5 years.

When I found out I had cancer, Dr. Duane set me for the last appointment of his day. After talking for hours, I realized that he would have talked on and on if I had. I got up and asked him, "How long would you have talked to me" and his response, "As long as it takes." This really impressed me. He is as kind as the day is long.
