Dr. Steven Daniel Enrich, MD

Had surgery. Dr Enrich is superb dr. Surgery went well. STW hospital care was excellent & staff was caring/quality care. I believe Dr Enrich required excellence & heard staff speak of. My impression was staff respected his expectations.

Had hearing test which showed moderate hearing loss and he seemed too interested in sending me for MRI, talked about nerve tumors and dementia, I may be an older woman but at the moment no dementia, in fact I work as certified surgical coder and coding out difficult surgical procedures. I think he was too quick in his determination. I would not recommend him to anyone. He may be a good doctor, but having worked around doctors for the last 35 years, I know there is a better way to discuss things with a patient. II felt he was out of line in his discussion.

He did a great job on my thyroidectomy.

Said he didnt have time to read medical records brought. His office called and said if we didn't pay the remainig bill he wouldn't see us for the next appointment. Never gave us a chance to talk about payment plan, we owed $89.00.

He was surly from entering the room until I left. He paid no attention to my primary concerns saying I had no records transferred although the referral doctor had retired only six months before, and I saw him the day he retired. Obviously, he did not want me as a patient but wish he could have said so rather than yell at me as I was there for a possible cancer check.
