Dear Dr. Floerchinger, I sure hope you remember me twenty years ago almost to the date! I was diagnosed with cancer in my right lung and you did my life saving surgery. At the time my husband Tom and I live in Anchorge, he was a city police officer and I had been a travel agent. Anyway I wanted you to know you were the best and most thorough Doctor a patient could ever want to have! I am still alive and well and just had my 78 th year birthday. I had a 10:30am appointment today, I was left waiting for 35 minutes with absolutely no one else in the waiting room. I got no explanation for the delay. I walked out. I had asked to see some of the surgical materials he might use for my surgery, I was told that it was too expensive to show me samples. He may be a good surgeon, but his bedside manner and courteous manner leaves alot to be desired. The office staff is very cold and uncaring, they need someone to lighten up the place.

Impatient and arrogant. Apparently competent. He was the on-call provider for the hospital.

Very compassionate and great bedside manner. Excellent surgeon.

Dr. Floerchinger saved my life. I had surgery to remove part of my colon. I was 100 pounds overweight and unhealthy. The surgery failed and I had to have another surgery. I was aware of the risks and do not blame him. Dr. Floerchinger performed the second surgery as well and was at my bedside every day while I recovered.
