Dr. Steven Alexander Gaich, MD

I was really nervous switching OB/GYNS, since I had been going to the same doctor for 10+ years. When I made the appointment I thought he was going to be a women doctor (which is what I preferred) and when he walked thru the door I was kind of nervous! He made me feel very comfortable, and not like I was being judged. He was knowledgeable on the medications I was on (which my last doctor was not) and that was a bonus for me, and for the safety of my unborn child. I look forward to working with him on my journey thru this pregnancy!

Although this doctor may not seem warm and fuzzy with bedside manner like most women want, he is a doctor that knows his stuff. When it came to the care for me and my unborn child, he was hands down very knowledgeable and took the time needed to make sure every need was addressed carefully. He was remarkable in the delivery room and there on after. I would take his actual skills as a doctor over warm and fuzzy.

This Doctor walked in, never introduced himself. Never really asked me any questions and never once looked me in the eye. He spent most of his visit on his laptop and he when he was not on the laptop and talking to me he was looking at the wall. Will NEVER schedule an appt with him again!!

Not too crazy about this doctor, needs to work on his bedside manner and compassion with patients.

No bedside manner. Would rather talk to my husband about sports instead of addressing my concerns. Acted like I was a "pain in the a**". Would roll his eyes when I would ask a question.

I completely lost all trust in this Doctor after two apts with him the first one he left me laying there after a painful exam with instruments still inside me removing his gloves and proceeded to leave the room ...thankfully a nurse was there to stop him and to reassure me afterwards...then he failed to go over my requests what my cervical polyps were and what the floaty tissue was and also the tumor that was developing...I kept calling the office to see someone else and the request was declined saying I would have to see him and no one in the office...I do not trust this man and luckily I've found a new doctor I feel safe with now that I can trust.

This dr has no bedside manners. He came in to deliver my baby wearing a hoodie and had scrubs on over it. He did not come in until i was ready to push and just had no bedside manners. Not a good experience at all.
