Dr. Steven Norris Gange, MD

Had a urolift procedure with Dr. Gange in his office. It was extremely painful while he was inserting the multiple urolifts. He indicated that one of them had punctured the bladder wall and after trying unsuccessfully to remove it, he stopped and sent me home. My frequent urination as well as urgency has been ten times worse than before the procedure. Over the last three years I have had another urologist remove four urolifts that over time have also punctured the bladder wall and started to calcify in the bladder. In my opinion he is a terrible doctor and would NOT recommend seeing him for a urinating problem.

Dr. Gange has been my husbands uroligist for several years. Since my husband has severe problems with general anesthesia, Dr. Gange has provided a regimen of care that does not include that option. He is genuinely concerned for an individuals need and circumstances, and suits his care to that which will be in his patients best interest. We love him! He is a great, caring and excellent Dr.

Gange rolls into the room like a giant slime ball, and that is his most positive attribute. You NEED to wash your hands after meeting the man, if not shower. I think patients are a hindrance to his day, he sure treated me like I was the problem. His manner is hopeless.

I worked for Summit Urology for a number of years. I was in a different office but saw a lot of how Dr Gange treated patients and staff. He was the joke of the office, often having to have others finish his screw ups. We called him the Pillsbury Dough Boy. While all the staff had filtered Internet, Gange had full access because he enjoys watching porn in his office. He treated staff like slaves, and mocked his patients insistently. Gange would constantly fly off the handle and berate his employees.

Dr. Gange is far more concerned about his patients than himself. If you have advanced BPH that may require a surgical procedure, he may be able to provide a Urolift with far fewer adverse effects. Dr. Gange has taught this procedure to hundreds of doctors and may have done more of these procedures than anyone else. However, he will help you to avoid even a Urolift if possible. It would be difficult to find a better doctor, anywhere, of any type. So far, with Dr. Gange's help, I have been able to avoid medical procedures.
