Dr. Jay Blain Page, MD

My husband had a vasectomy scheduled, he had to reschedule due to a work conflict. He was told that if he tried to again they would deny doing the procedure. Shortly before the new date my husband paid for the procedure, picked up the prescription, was all ready. They called and THEY rescheduled him a second time. He questioned them if they would cancel it since it was the second time, the office told him no that this was on them so it would not count "against him." Now less then a week before the new date they called, canceled and told him they won't do it since he rescheduled twice. We tried calling to explain but they insisted that they can only see that it was rescheduled twice which they don't allow and so Dr Page is refusing care. This is COMPLETELY unacceptable and unprofessional. Now we have to try and get our payment back and insure this office didn't also bill our insurance company. Avoid this Doctor at all costs.

Dr Page fits into the category of if he can’t make money off you in surgery he will dismiss you and your issues. If you even get a chance to tell him. He already knows everything before he comes into the room. Typical surgeon who comes into clinic hours looking for only surgeries. Everything else is just an annoyance. I can only imagine how terrible he treats the office staff and the managers and the nurses and the hospital staff. I might not have an issue worth his time but if I ever did I would never never go back or recommend him to anyone.

Everything went well I was concerned in the begining as people are with any type of surgery. Dr. Page us a good doctor and i am pleased with the results.

Dr Jay Page is horrible! Rude, absolutely horrible bedside manner. Acts as if you are wasting his time. Doesnt explain things or let's you ask questions. We are more frustrated and confused than before the appt. He performed a procedure and told us 3 or 4 times about the huge needle he had to insert and how my husband doesn't want to feel it but didnt give anytime for the numbing shot to work or double chk to make sure it had started working. He hates his job!!!

Saw the Doctor as a follow up to Emergency Room visit. He indicated my issue was resolved but if anything changed to call. Problem came back. I called and scheduled an appointment in one week. The day before my appointment the office called to reschedule two more weeks out. Tried to ask scheduler if it couldn't be sooner. Explained I would need to go back to Emergency room to most likely to simply refill presecription and scheduler was indifferent. Basically take it or leave it. If you really need to see a Doctor don't count on any help. I guess I have had really good Doctors before that actually cared.

unfortunately during the 3rd visit I was given the diagnosis of prostate Ca. Doctor spent not more then 5 min with me, gave me 2 options-observation or surgery and did not really discuss or explain my situation and what would be the best option for me...So I feel that I need help somewhere else..

He didn't ask me what I wanted he just told me that I needed to circumcision went in to do the circumcision and he did a partial circumcision didn't explain what he was going to do to me the stitches came out called his office he saw me and just said that it would heal on its own didn't do a follow up with me how to call his office to do a follow-up and make an appointment it doesn't even look like I got a circumcision just swelling and still foreskin

Poor bedside manner felt he was not professional, was prescribed a medication that I had a reaction too and called to let him know and was basically told he could do nothing more for me. .

If you need a doctors office I would recommend going anywhere else but here! The office staff was incredibly rude, and the billing was messed up twice even before my first and only visit. My actual appointment lasted less than two minutes with a wait time in an empty office of over 30 minutes. When i received a bill for what should have been a fully covered visit I attempted to resolve it with a very rude woman who's only comment was "How you fix it is you pay it."
