Dr. Steven Lawrence Grenell, MD

I went to him for intractable back pain. He took a history and then asked me to stand up. He put one of his arms around me and then shoved his other hand up my blouse. I wasn't wearing a bra because I was in so much pain I couldn't put it on. HE GROPED ME. I've had breast exams and this was not a breast exam. He said, "When I asked you about surgery you didn't mention breast reduction." He wrote me a prescription for Neurontin and told me to make another appointment to see him. I took the prescription and just left feeling very dirty. I would never go to this guy again.

My husband suffered a series of strokes revealed in an initial MRI when he was hospitalized. Dr. was never available to speak to me during my husband's 5 day hospital stay. A follow up MRI revealed 2 more strokes, one of which he didn't see. Another Neurologist did right away. Office wait time for Grennell was almost 3 hours

I've been a patient of Dr Grenell for 20 yrs. I was in a desperate need of help after years of dealing with pain & suffering after several failed surgeries by incompetent local doctors. I travel 178 miles and happy to do so. Dr Steven Grenell is always kind and professional. I'm so thankful for having him as my #1 doctor.

Dr. Grenell is one of the nicest, most professional and knowledgeable doctors in the field of Pain Management. He has treated my wife and myself with immense care.

i would NEVER go to this doctor again.....took a test that whose possible results was causing sleepless nights....told to call back in a few days...called back as instructed and was told that he had gone.on vacation for several weeks and never left covering doctor therefore could not have results of test until he came back....if this is how you treat patients then this is.TOTALLY SECOND RATE HEALTH CARE.

Dr. Grenell accurately diagosed my condition, treated it, which resulted in 100% improvement. He is very sensitive and courteous. He talks to you and spends the necessary time required to answer your questions. His staff, at the Sedgwick Avenue location (Linda) is one of the most efficient and courteous individual I've ever encounter in a Doctors' office. I recommend Dr. Grenell wholeheartedly; he saved my mind and life.

Unless you have a very specific treatable condition such as a seizure disorder or a stroke, avoid this doctor. He can be very arrogant and judgmental.

I found Dr. Grenell to be an excellent doctor who is compassionate, takes time to fully examine all aspects of my health issues and treats those issues with competence and care.
