Dr. Gruenstein does not spend much time with you at all, and does not return phone calls either! He may be a good doctor, but his bedside manner could be much better!!

Dr. True stein called once and didn't follow up. Very nice man but not good at calling back.

Due to Hereditary Spherocytosis my ex was in hemolytic crisis. Dr. Gruenstein took him to the hospital personally and saved his life. I will never forget him for that. He is also a fantastic internist, oncologist and human being!

I can't say enough about about Dr Gruenstein, he saved my life over and over again. The kindest, brightest Doctor I have ever met. It was a three year roller coaster ride, and he never left my side. Always coming to the right diagnosis and treatment necessary to see me through. Communicating throughly with other Doctors and staff involved in my care, he was always there. I would not be here today if it wasn't for him, I feel very blessed he was my oncologist. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you Dr G, for everything!

Staff may be pleasant, but repeated requests for a copy of my records were completely ignored--even requests for faxing results to my doctor were ignored. It is only when I asked for the office manager that I got a response as to their policies regarding this.

Dr. G. is by far one of the most compassionate, understanding and patient doctors I have ever had the pleasure of treating me. If you are looking for an oncologist who will listen to you rant about the latest Internet findings and respond with thoughtful concern and great medical acumen - he's your guy!
