Dr. Steven Charles Horrocks, DO

Dr. Stephen Horrocks has been my Dr. since I came to Surprise, AZ. He is a good Dr and therefore has become very busy by being good! so when he just cant see you immediately, then he will respond by email to your question on his website in a reasonable amount of time.... Bottomline, Great Doctor!

I am old enough to remember how the reverence and respect for the medical professions could intimidate a patient. As a culture we have become more open to candor with medical professionals. Dr. Horrocks and his staff foster an environment that allows for comfortable communication; I appreciate that very much.

I've been going here about a year. It hasn't been a bad experience - it hasn't been a good experience. He has students do most of the preliminary stuff. Then he comes in and quickly glances over their notes and asks a few questions. Aside from just general preventative maintenance visits, I've been a few times for specific issues. I always leave feeling like I just wasted my time. I don't know anymore about whatever I went in for than I did when I walked in; "maybe it's this - maybe it's that, might get better - might not, could have been caused by this - could have been caused by that . . . thanks for stopping by." Maybe that's just where medicine is these days - I don't know.

Dr. Horrocks is a caring health care provider. Unlike many others in his profession he LISTENS. Both myself and my wife are more than satisfied with his service.

Dr Horrocks has been my doctor for about 7 years and he has always been attentive to my health problems. He listens and really cares and works hard to fix your problems. He spends adequate time with you. He even helped me get my job back!!! I would definitely recommend him.

This Doctor is smart, professional and easy going. His staff is a classy group as well. If you don't have a Doctor please call him; but I understand he is booked up because of his A+ status as a Doctor in Surprise AZ.

I have been seeing them for over 3 years and the whole office is great. I absolutely love his PA Rachel Carney. She is so friendly and is thorough with each visit. She always remembers me and makes me feel relaxed. She always follows up ASAP on all lab and procedure results. She even sends me the results of other doctors I'm seeing so I don't have to wait for them. She always checks her mail everyday even on the weekends. I highly recommend seeing her.

He's great! He listens and takes his time. Highly recommended.

I agree with the other poor reviews. I felt like I was on an assembly line. I was there to get treated for pain but after 2 hours waiting, I was told he would treat me "next time" and went off to the next case.

I have been a patient of Dr. Horrocks' since the Surprise office opened and I would HIGHLY recommend him and his staff for all of your medical needs.
