Dr. Steven Alan Hott, MD

nope nope nope. delivered my daughter 5 years ago though I could trust this man with my life and my babies. went back now 5 years later and he and his staff have changed. he acts like he knows nothing... he forgets all of my info about me and my pregnancy and prior pregnancies. he makes me feel so worried for me and my baby. Told me I was having false labor and that he doesnt like to give pre term labor shots ar almost 36 weeks pregnant but then had his nurse give me a shot the day before to stop pre term labor and didnt even remember doing it.. as well as she lied to me and told me it was just a muscle relaxer then further reading it was more than that. told me he doesnt like to give norco because it's not the safest for the baby but had his nurse have me take one the day before. Just NO ... now trying to switch doctors at 36 weeks pregnant. ??????? I reminded him several times I went into labor with my daughter whom he delivered at 37 weeks along and she was healthy and 8 pounds so… I was nervous I might go early with this baby. he said dont worry itll be fine if he comes anytime after now (being 35 weeks along) went back in with pre term labor a week later and him and his nurses kept telling me if the baby comes its risky and I need to hold him in longer... like there is something I can do about it.. seriously hope they take better care of other pregnant women. I've never felt so unsure/lied to and scared in my life.

I've gone to Dr Hott for about 28 years. He is the BEST!! He's delivered my last son by c-section, some minor surgeries and then my total hysterectomy. I had some medical issues come up after my surgery and he would not leave the floor and kept checking on me for several hours. You could not ask for a more thorough and compassionate doctor.

Dr. Hott initially started with me because I had pre-cancerous cells on my cervix, which are now gone!! He delivered all 3 of my boys. He makes sure that my health is in order every pregnancy and post-partum (I have high-risk pregnancies due to my health). He works very hard, and even took the time to double check everything for me to make sure that it was correct during all of my tests/exams, pregnancies, and post-partum weeks. He is an amazing doctor in every aspect that he can be. He works long and hard. I would recommend him to any woman looking for a really good ob/gyn doctor. He doesn't always get to spend the time he needs to with a patient because of his schedule, but his staff women make up for that.

I can't tell you how this man changed my life and opinion of Dr.'s. He cares, he's professional and down to earth. His bedside manner is wonderful. He's getting so popular he's getting hard to get into but he's definetly worth the wait! The most at ease I've ever felt with a gynocologist and I've seen a lot of them.
