He is very personable and explained the carpal tunnel surgery and got it set up for me.

Dr. Huish was referred to me by my FNP for carpal tunnel symptoms. Had that surgery on both hands on December/2025 and had excellent results. Saw him today for a stenosis tenosynovitis issue. He greeted me in the waiting area, took me back to a room, discussed the problem and resolution, administered said treatment and I was out the door. Knowledgeable, efficient, and caring. Highly recommend not only him but his entire staff as well.

He is one of the best Doctors and individuals I have had the pleasure of working with. He has always taken the necessary time to diagnose and treat the many issues I have had to address over the years. I have nothing but trust and admiration for him.

I went in for some pretty significant pain in my hand and thumb, and they got me in quickly. They took X-rays right away, and Dr. Hewish explained everything clearly and gave me a few treatment options. I ended up going with a cortisone shot, and he handled it right there in the office—quick and surprisingly painless. Dr. Huish always takes great care of me. I’d recommend him to anyone.

He is a great surgeon. He knows what he is doing, which is all I care about. His PA is friendly and so is his medical assistant. They seem to be helpful.

I was scheduled for what was billed as a 45-minute appointment, but the doctor spent no more than five minutes with me (no exaggeration). During that very brief time, he diagnosed me with carpal tunnel and nerve damage and immediately referred me to a specialist. I didn’t have the chance to ask questions or explain my symptoms in detail. When I later saw the nerve specialist, I was told that I was misdiagnosed and that I did not have carpal tunnel or nerve damage. It was frustrating to have such an important diagnosis made so quickly without a thorough exam. What concerns me most is being billed for a 45-minute visit when my appointment lasted only a few minutes. I understand that billing codes don’t always perfectly reflect time spent, but this felt misleading and added to an already poor experience. I left feeling unheard, rushed, and without confidence in the care I received. I hope future patients are given more time, attention, and accuracy.

Easy to get an appointment and excellent staff. Dr. Huish was very personable and took the time to explain my options. He guided me to a solution I feel good about and showed me a solution for a condition I didn't know could be improved. Looking forward to him taking care of my needs.

We've seen Dr. Huish for care of a broken arm. We drove a fair distance to see him throughout the process. He has a great understanding of what was needed, and excellent instincts. Where others were all too keen to schedule surgery, he recognized the excellent position the bones were in for a great opportunity to naturally heal, by caring for the arm carefully, and strategically using various methods of supporting the arm. Thanks to him, there's no metal rod or screws. It healed back solid, naturally. We're glad we made the trips to see him.
