Steven H. Joe, DO

Dr. Joe has been my family's Primary Care Physician for over 20 years. We follow him where ever he goes. He takes time to listen and review, he lets you know what is going on. He always returns phone calls and emails. I never feel rushed like I do at some Dr.'s office. I trust every diagnosis and referral that he makes. The wait time in his office is minimal and the staff is wonderful.

He has been my PCP for 20 years and I wouldn't want another. He is great and uses a holistic approach.

This doctor is very caring and tells you the truth

Dr. Joe's office does not return messages. 4 messages left over the course of 2 weeks on an existing condition to get a prescription with not one return call.Dr. Joe himself seems unsure of any diagnosis he gives. The running joke between two of us former patients for how dr. Joe treats your ailment is, "well, what do you think you have?" and then he prescribes based on what you say.

My family has been with Dr. Joe since he has been with St. Joseph Heritage - Many years! Not only is he thorough in coming to a diagnosis, he will order the tests to get it done, he follows up, he won't leave the office until he asks if you have questions and/or understands, and he is truly a rare caring doctor. I rarely have to wait to see him, but I WOULD wait because he gives his patients the consideration of his time, as well as his expertise, which is well worth any wait. dch
