Dr. Steven Leslie Kaplan, MD

Treated me for almost 7 years from 2009, to 2016. First, got me in apparently good treatment, letting out the fact i was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. Without the right prescription, on 2012, i had an episode of mania, while i was on Wellbutrin and Clonazepan. No mood stabilizer. Too, had my meetings with him, together with ex-husband, the doctor gave me psychotherapy as i thought. Most of the time put me down, comparing me with ex-husband. My experience was a nightmare. He consulted me many times by phone out of working hours, which i understood it was very good, At the hour of the truth, i ended in psychiatric wards, many times. He didn"t worked in no hospital. Now that i've been treated with a right diagnosed and have a more professional interaction with another psychiatrist, i'm stable for 4 years and have gained trust in myself. I thank God and the right professionals that been treating me!

Dr. Kaplan has been my Psychiatrist for over two years. He is professional, compassionate and patient. Dr. Kaplan really takes the time to listen to my symptoms and help to treat them in the best way. He has made the quality of my life so much better. And btw he always returns phone calls the same day. If you need a caring Psychiatrist who takes the time to listen, Dr. Kaplan is excellent.
