I left several inquiries about wanting to see Dr. Mamus for a second opinion on my stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to my brain. No one has ever called me back or reached out. I don’t know why they have the option to leave a message on their website if they don’t plan on returning your call. After reading all the terrible reviews on Dr. Mamus, I ended up sticking with my same oncologist. I’m afraid Sarasota has a shortage of educated oncologists who are compassionate and willing To sit down for more than five minutes. Sad. It hurts me to feel like a number but that’s basically what we are.

I was given "worst case scenario" by my primary care doctor and my gastroenterologist. I was scared to death when I went to see Dr. Mamus. Well that all changed after seeing Dr. Mamus, and now, one year later I am better & healthier because of his great care!

Have CatIV non small cell lung cancer. Dr. Mamus has taken the time to fully explain, and although terminal, he has continued to fight with me to extend my life.

Dr. Mamus is very good at prescribing chemotherapy. I've been going there for over 7 years and am in remission from stage 4 breast cancer that has metastasized to my bones and around my intestines. He knows his stuff and knows how to treat all kinds of cancer.
