Dr. Steven Maron, MD

Dr. Maron is a Board Certified Pediatrician and American Academy of Pediatrics fellow with an office in the Continental Pediatrics Clinic, where he also serves as a clinical instructor for Midwestern University medical students.. Dr Maron completed Medical school In Tel Aviv, Israel and completed Pediatric residencies at Albert Einstein Medical Center Northern Division in Philadelphia, PA and at St Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. Since that time he has had a private practice in NJ, at the same time providing service to Community Health Centers in areas of need, as well as employee positions in staff model HMO's in PA. Dr Maron has also been a Pediatric Hospitalist in Wilkes Barre, PA where he served as faculty in a family medicine residency program, and prior to coming to UCHC served as a locum (temporary) pediatrician in Yuma, Arizona. Dr Maron has also served as an interviewer for the Oral History program of the American Association of Pediatrics for which he interviewed …the well-known TV Pediatrician Dr T Berry Brazelton. Dr Maron is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and a past member of the American Association for the History of Medicine, the Medical History Society of NJ, and the Museum of Civil War Medicine.

Dr Maron resides in Sahuarita with his wife, and has 2 adult children. In his spare time Dr Maron pursues interests in medical history and medical antiques and books. He plays the fiddle accompanying services at Beth Shalom Temple Center in Green Valley where he also serves as a lay service leader. He likes to ride his bike around Sahuarita Lake for exercise.
