We have always been very pleased with the wonderful care Dr. Mathus has given us. He delivered eleven of our children, and his patience and quiet presence, along with his tremendous skill and knowledge, always made the deliveries even more special. I cannot imagine anyone not giving him five stars!

Dr. Mathus has been my Dr. for over 30 years and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else...always professional, kind and very caring. Have always had excellent care in pregnancies, breast issues, and multiple other events over the years.... the best!!!

Love Dr Mathus! Had two beautiful deliveries by him. All of my questions and concerns are always addressed. Never feel rushed. Spectacular bedside manner. He is kind, caring and compassionate. So thankful for his work. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Mathis made the prenatal visits, the c section, and my son's circumcision as comfortable as possible. You can tell he really cares about his patients.

Although appointment time ran behind, once I was in the room, I had the undivided attention of Dr. Mathus. He is very kind, calm, and reassuring. He is thorough and knowledgable. His staff was patient with my questions. I would recommend Dr. Mathus to my friends.

Dr. Mathus has been my doctor for 24 years. I don't have one bad thing to say about him and lots of good things to say. He is very pleasant, friendly, and easy going. He is thorough and allows plently of time for questions. At my annual appointment last year I asked him about a "lump" I kept feeling in my left abdomen. My primary care doctor that I had seen a couple weeks earlier didn't even touch the spot when I told him about it, saying it was possibly a couple different things of no consequence. When I saw Dr. Mathus and mentioned it, he came right over and felt the spot, and ordered a test to see what was going on. It turned out to be a fist sized tumor on the side of my stomach that needed to be removed. I'm so thankful that Dr. Mathus didn't just dismiss it like my (now former) primary care doctor did. I highly recommend Dr. Mathus not only because he is a caring and informed doctor with much experience, but most importantly for me, he actually listens and acts on his patients… concerns.

Dr. Mathus is a great doctor! He is so through. He takes the time to make sure he is giving his patient the best care possible. He recently performed an outpatient surgical procedure on me and I couldn't be more pleased on how everything went.

DR Mathus was my Dr during my pregnancy and the birth of my daughter. All of my questions and needs were addressed to satisfaction during pregnancy. Any issues I had he made sure I was fully informed of all options available to me. The last week of pregnancy we found that I'm a week I went from measuring with the week to measuring 43 weeks!! He had an ultrasound done that day. We found out that she was over 9 pounds already!! He sat down with me right after the ultrasound and gave me undivided attention of all options I had. He did not steer me one way or another. He made sure I was fully informed so that my husband and I could make a decision we were comfortable with. We opted for a c section which was scheduled for the next day!! Dr Mathus and his team was very reassuring during the c section to me and my husband. Our daughter was born with no complications weighing in at 9 pounds 13 ounces!! We will go to.him again when we are expecting our next child. :)

During a routine gynecological exam, Dr. Mathus examined my thyroid and discovered a thyroid nodule. He referred me for follow-up, and thyroid cancer was discovered. The doctors in St. Louis were amazed that Dr. Mathus felt such a very small nodule. I'm grateful to Dr. Mathus that it was discovered early enough to be entirely removed by surgery. It had not spread. I also appreciate Dr. Mathus' professionalism and willingness to take time to explain things to me during my visits.

Dr. Mathus delivered my second child. He was wonderful during the delivery and with postpartum care. He has great bedside manner and takes plenty of time to answer questions & concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
