Dr. Steven B Mazza, MD

Dr. Mazza is one of the best doctors there is. You won't find a more down to earth and caring doctor out there. He has a heart of gold and will go to the end of the earth to help fix you. Easy to talk to, knows your history, remembers what you tell him, just an all around outstanding human. I couldn't recommend him more. He is simply the best.

Wrong diagnosis and wrong treatment I don’t care how nice someone seems if you’re misdiagnosed and your treatment doesn’t take care of your problem it’s wrong and they have no business touching you! Time wasted and lies about diagnosis left me disabled for life. He’s a sadist!!!

You want pain meds. He's the one. Friend told me about him. He'll get you what you want and he keeps prescibing. No questions asked

Dr. Mazza treated my lower back pain after a bad ski fall. At first he assured me that the MRI showed "nothing that troubled him". But as time went on, my condition worsened. He tried epidurals in 2 different locations and a nerve block. None had much effect. At this point he declared, "The answer is...there is no answer". He told me there was no magic cure. I am now with a pain management doc who is doing injections of the L4 and L5 facets. These have helped somewhat. My disappointment with Dr. Mazza is that he just gave up, instead of investigating other options or specialties. It was like he just wanted to get rid of me.

A GREAT DOCTOR, STAFF, AND ORGANISATION

He is not all about doing surgery. He listens and understands what you say. He has one of the best bedside manners ever in a doctor. When I leave his office I always feel better. I recommend him to anyone with spinal issues. Top notch doctor who truly cares about his patients.

Dr. Mazza was a very good communicator in addition to being very competent. He diagnosed my two issues very well, and i then visited with a chiropractor at CH who resolved my concerns. He also treated my husband by first diagnosing his concerns correctly and communicated with warmth and concern. I would certainly recommend him to a friend in need!

Respectful, listens, answers all your questions, understands that patients have different needs and that athletes differ from sedentary fro college kids etc. I have had two spinal injections which he performed wonderfully; family members of mine have also had great experiences wit Dr. Mazza. He does not hesitate to refer to others if needed, and never pressures you into any procedure you feel uncomfortable with. Like all Coordinated health physicians I have come in contact with they view your interest in seeking a second opinion as a sign of sincerity rather than doubting their diagnosis.
