Dr. Steven Alan Mollov, MD

I had a loop procedure on a Wednesday and within 24 hours I had symptoms of an infection. It continued to get worse, so I went in for an infection check on Monday and saw Dr. Mollov because my regular doctor was not available. He examined me, but did not swab me and dismissed me. I continued to have infection symptoms and when I had my follow up appointment with my real doctor 10 days later she did do a swab and it came back that I do have an infection. So, because of Dr. Mollov's negligence, I've been unnecessarily living with an infection and its very unpleasant symptoms for over two weeks.

No bedside manners. Told him multiple times I was getting anxiety with the producer being done, wasn’t making me feel any better with the situation. Judge me on my weight. Told me my eating habits was the reason for my weight gain not my birth control, with out him even knowing me or my “eating” habits. Chose the birth control for me and made me an appointment. Didn’t let me choose the birth control I wanted. Was put on the spot. Lack of empathy. Not friendly. Ignorant. I called and complained to never see him again.

He is cold. No compassion at all. He does not care about the actual person/patient. My words always go in his ear and out the other. He thinks he knows your body but every one and every situation is different. He is legit a butcher, he took my nexoplin birth control out of my arm and I was not feeling secure about It at all he puts his patient feeling on the edge and scared and when i would show i was scared he would sigh and tell me to stop complaining. When I would tell him it hurts he told me I'm a liar. Every time I left his office I've felt TRAUMATIZED. DO NOT make him your doctor.

Dr. Mollov is the least compassionate provider I have ever encountered. In the midst of a difficult and distressed labor. He came and looked at my chart, never made eye contact with me, never spoke to me, except to say “we don’t give out medals for martyrdom. Feel free to take the drugs”. And walked away. Never in my life would I imagine being treated with such contempt. This, being unattended for 23 of 26 hours of labor and having to ASK to hold my baby after being out of surgery for 2 hours & many other awful experiences, I was horrified with the hospital and practice.

Does not put time or care into visits. Blows off any concerns or needs you have unless they make him money. Rushes heartbeat check so you barely get to hear your baby’s heartbeat. Is not at all concerned with how you’re feeling, doesn’t even bother asking. When you’re expecting a baby it’s supposed to be a happy exciting experience but with visits to this guy it makes you feel like a burden. I will cry if he’s the one to deliver my baby I do not trust him with mine or my unborn child’s care at all!

I wouldn't recommend this "doctor" to my worst enemy. He is very rude loud and disrespectful. He's the WORST doctor I have ever had to deal with in my lifetime. I was three month pregnant and vomiting and having pain in my upper right quadrant and back right towards center. Dr. Mollov yelled at me accusing me of seeking pain meds and told me I was exaggerating to get medicine. I was admitted in the birthing center and laid in excruciating pain for 8 days until another doctor finally decided to listen to me and run tests. (Dr. Mollov ran none) and within a half hour she had found out I had an extremely infected gall bladder and had me in the OR getting it removed within a half hour. Dr. Mollov also told me I could take imitrex safely while pregnant. That is not true. (Every other doctor I have spoken to tells me otherwise. Actually quite the opposite. It is dangerous to take during pregnancy) Dr. Mollov also encouraged me to abort my baby (which I refused to do!!!) because I was… obviously not gonna be ok with my pregnancy if I was planning on seeking drugs the whole time. (Which I wasn't.) I never even asked him for pain meds. I just asked him to find what was wrong with me because I was concerned for the health of my baby. Thankfully in the end she is healthy but please do not let this man treat you. He should NOT be practicing medicine in the least bit. I also know of another person who almost lost their life from one of his botched surgeries but that's not my review.

Excellent physician, he saved my daughter's and my life when he delivered her, I am so thankful to him.
