Dr. Nishiyama is exceptional. He is personable and thorough with not just the hip issue I am having but with other conditions and how they all tie together. He took so much time with me and didn’t just look at his computer screen. He explained everything in detail and made me feel relaxed and comfortable with the decisions we were making. He really is an outstanding, compassionate, and brilliant physician.

I have always been happy with the service at DOC, including the assistants and Dr. Nishiyama. I would recommend this location to all my friends.

Dr Nishyama has already done a revision on my left knee. I was seeing him to determine the viability of replacing my right knee. Dr. Nishyama is professional, friendly and thoroughly explains everything. Dr. Nishyama is highly recommended.

I am 82 years old, and because of my age I was a bit apprehensive at first, however my full knee replacement has gone perfectly. I am extremely happy with the results and how my knee feels I have no pain whatsoever. I would emphasize that physical therapy after surgery is extremely important. The first two weeks after surgery are the most demanding but with physical therapy you will soon begin to notice a definite improvement. I would recommend Dr Nishiyama and his staff wholeheartedly and without reservation for anyone who is considering a knee operation of any kind.

Starting with the front desk: The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and efficient. Dr. Nishiyama took time to listen to my concerns without rushing. I loved how he explained my issues and treatments options in clear understandable terms. The nurse that gave me the shot made me comfortable so I had to fear receiving it. I. Injured my knee skiing and needed an appointment immediately. I could find one at a different locacation still at Desert Orthopedic Dr Nishiyama was very thorough and has very good attitude listening to my explanation to prescribe what to do. Dr Anthony did the drainage and the cortisone shots. I already feel better.

He is very straight forward discusses all options and explains the in and outs of all I would recommend he to anyone needing knee surgery. Good man
