Dr. Troy Shannun Watson, MD

The epitome of greed. It is hard to believe the insanity of the constant and unrelenting attack on patients for money. My surgery went well but after eight weeks I still am wearing a boot and have a significant limp. I will never go back to see Dr. Watson and would never refer anyone to these money grabbers. I have PPO insurance so it isn’t as if these doctors, it’s a huge group, aren’t getting paid for their care. Front and back office staff are the absolute worst.

Dr. Watson seemed knowledgeable with a great bedside manner. However as I sat for three hours in a waiting room I overheard him in the hall say to one of his colleagues let’s load up all of our appointments and have three days off a week. This was clearly apparent as I stared at a wall for three hours in a waiting room with nobody assisting me. The next visit a face time call I was pond off to another doctor , very nice but not Watson that i was referred to .The next visit was in office again for another 2 1/2 hour wait just to look at my foot/ ankle and leg and put me in a boot as I heard the staff giggle, laugh , talk & reminisce about their day . The first visit I was fitted with a splint that hindered my recovery. No one listened Especially Dr. Watson.. I would never returned this office or pay the extraordinary money I had to pay at a difficult time nor would I ever recommend this !! Please , please do not look at the fake reviews! Go to the office for yourself and see… what i am talking about if you have the Patience and heart honey so you can write the honest reviews to leave patients to a good doctor that Actually cares .

I’m a warehouse worker and I went in to see Dr. Watson with extreme foot pain. I needed a double fusion on my right foot and he did his job and more he took his time to explain what he was going to do and why. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone in my field of work or in a similar field who’s on their feet for 7 plus hours a day. Thank you to Dr. Watson and your staff for a job well done.

Dr Watson is probably the best MD in LV for this injury. Had no surgery with a complete tear and am running 6 months later. Amazing!!!

I am a person who avoids going to the doctor whenever possible, but I had an ankle injury that required surgery. The entire experience, from initial appointment, to surgery, to follow ups, to my final appointment today, I felt extremely well taken care of by Dr. Watson and the staff at Desert Orthopedic. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel confident I was in the best hands during my surgery and recovery process.

I had a terrible break on my ankle and fibula. Dr. Watson and his team showed an incredible amount of empathy as they prepared me for what needed to be done so I would be able to walk again. Since I was completely sedated for the surgery I don’t remember it but my wife told me that Dr. Watson came out to the waiting room and explained to her everything that was done during the procedure. The care in the follow up by Dr. Watson and his staff was amazing, always making sure that the healing process would go as planned. I am pain free and back to doing what I did before my accident. I am lucky to have found such a talented and caring doctor and staff.

I saw Dr. Watson because of arthritis in my foot. He had a game plan and my foot wasn't having it. Then he tried something else well so far so good. I am very happy. I really had no pain and am 110% happy. Thank you Dr. Watson and staff
