Dr. Steven Arthur Pally, DO

I have been a patient of Dr. Pally for over 20 years. The consistent, attentive, compassionate care he has shown me is a major factor in my continuing ability to enjoy life. He is supportive, and demonstrates interest as well as expertise. Plus he has a staff who show competence and at the same time bring understanding to their professional roles. Thanks, Shannon and Mary El. Finally, he is supported by Melissa, the Office Manager. Health care today is complex and has multiple interfaces (insurance, pharmaceuticals/Rxs, etc.) and she is the pivot point in bringing it altogether. I am glad to have them and am grateful for the healthy life they help me to live.

Dr. Pally has been our family doctor for over 20 years. He has been instrumental in diagnosing serious illness in my husband and brother when no one else did. He really listens to what you have to say and follows through with recommendations and followup. He is compassionate and caring with his patients. He's the best!

I also received a similar letter to what other raters are also reporting as a termination of care letter from the practice. I was a patient of his for 8+ years. After reading several other comments, it appears as though this practitioner is "cherry-picking" his patients.

Spends a lot of time with you but not open to understanding any concerns or other perspective if it challenges his authority.

I was a patient of Dr Pally for over 15 years and in a one month time frame I called the office 2 twice, several weeks in advance to reschedule a physical. The second time I called, when trying to reschedule I politely explained to his staff, that I understood I would have to wait until another morning appointment was available (they schedule several months out) because it was difficult for me to be out of the office mid-day for 3 hours. They said he needs to see me at least every 6 months because of my medical condition, which I did and always agreed with, and that he would see me for a check-up now and the reschedule my physical after that. The entire conversation was polite on both ends, with a solution â?? I was scheduled to come in approx 2 weeks. I thanked the assistant and even said I always appreciated the time he spent with me, but this one week, I couldnâ??t leave the office. Then one week later, (based on what his assistant told him â?? I never spoke to Dr Pally) I… receive a letter in the mail that I need find a new physician immediately, because I should find an â??internist who will be able to work within my parameters.â?? Literally, after 15 years, I have no idea what his assistant said, that I am to get a new physician and he would treat me for emergencies only for 30 days. I honestly was BLOWN away and thought he was a good and caring man, but now realize he has zero integrity to treat that anyone way, for no reason. Knowing that I also require daily medication, made me question his ethics. I am truly saddened to write something like this about a professional Iâ??ve trusted for years and referred others to.

I have been a patient of doctor Pally's for many years. I cannot say enough positive statements about what a fantastic doctor he has been to me and my family. My wife was diagnosed with late stage lung cancer and Dr. Pally was the most attentive, caring and supportive doctor I could have ever envisioned. He was the most professional, intelligent, caring and compassionate person we dealt with. I will never forget what Dr. Pally did for me and my wife throughout the duration of her illness. He is a credit to his profession and I have the uptmost of respect for his competency and the devotion that he exhibited throughout this very difficult period in my life. I am forever grateful for having such a wonderful person in my life.

Dr. Pally is the best doctor I have ever had. He is caring, knows his patients and is an excellent diagnostician. He takes time to listen to his patients.I wish more doctors were like him.

I would agree with past comments. Sometimes they make you wait 2 hrs between the waiting room and the exam room before you see the doctor. Does not take any insurance. While he does spend time and seems to be concerned about his patients. He like to prescribe a lot of medications that will "mask" symptoms instead of getting to the heart of the issue.

My appointment was for 1:30pm and I did not get out of the office until close to 5pm. I have been with Dr. Pally for the last 2 years and will not return because of the wait time. Too long. I was even charge $25 for missing an appointment when my next appt card stated a date that did not match with what they had in the computer.
