Dr. Steven Woodward Picard, MD

Steven Picard was rude, dismissive, and ignorant. At an appointment that was supposed to take around 1-2 hours, and involve many series of questions, he skipped the majority of the questions, and relied on psychiatric diagnosis criteria from several edition old versions of the DSM. If he cannot be bothered to update his field of knowledge, I heavily doubt he is capable of making any actual diagnoses outside of a cold.

Excellent doctor, takes the time to spend with his patients. He brought me back from a dark place. A great man.

He seems to be nice guy but I was looking for a doc who could explain what's going on. Some of my labs came back with flags and I didn't hear from him or his office. I had to call them myself to schedule a visit to discuss my labs. Again, he didn't explain me all those numbers BUT he told me that he is happy to prescribe me meds or refer me if I wanted. I mean common doc! It's a small place but I will try to find someone else.

There is not a more caring doctor on the planet than Steven Picard. He puts his heart and soul into his practice.

If you can get an appointment and it's not canceled or changed he's a good doctor. He takes good care of his patients and takes his time to talk. He's personable and friendly. It's too bad he's just not there enough. On a side note, after having seen him for a few years, I'm often surprised at how he treats his office staff... seems short tempered and rude. The opposite of how he treats his patience.
