Dr. Steven Allen Priddle, MD

During our first pregnancy under his care we thought the world of Dr. Priddle and his nursing staff. Our 2nd experience was not quite as good, but still above average and we wouldn't have considered going anywhere else at the time for care during the next pregnancy/delivery. However, during our last pregnancy, when we politely refused an exam, Dr. Priddle and his staff became hostile to us. He claimed that we were "adversarial" for declining the procedure, though we had been polite, though firm, that we did not want the exam under the circumstances. Dr. Priddle was adamant that he was correct that nothing was wrong (but that the exam was necessary), despite pain and bleeding I was having at the time. We felt pressured into agreeing to the exam which did not show the one or two things he said might be wrong. He claimed we had lost faith in him, but that he was confident in his diagnosis. We left the practice and were correctly diagnosed by another physician out of the area with a… very serious condition and two other additional problems that should have been apparent in the symptoms we reported and testing and exam we had done when we saw Dr. Priddle. Dr. Priddle is a very qualified physician who usually has a great bedside manner, but in our last experience his pride got in the way of listening to us when something was seriously wrong. It's a shame that we had to go through such stress in his office on top of being in pain and fearing for the wellbeing of our child. We did not loose faith in him until he failed to listen and we found out his diagnosis was completely wrong.

Dr. Priddle is amazing. Professional, funny, easy-going, great at his job, and makes the already wonderful experience even more enjoyable. He bends over backwards for his clients by coming in even when he's not on call. Highly, highly recommended.
