Dr. Steven Ravins, MD

I was diagnosed with a very serious pregnancy complications called Placenta Accreta and Dr Ravins was an absolutely outstanding and essential person in my treatment team. Due to previous pregnancy losses I was being seen my Maternal Fetal Medicine as well, where Dr Ravins collaborated beautifully with their team to make sure I had the best care possible. I had to deliver my son 4 weeks early due to having this high risk complication that involved higher risk of hemorrhaging, hysterectomy and even death. Dr Ravins walked me through everything, all of the possible treatment/surgical options and put so much thought and effort into my surgical plan. He answered all of my questions and was so patient with me (I was an anxious hot mess). I am absolutely grateful and honored to have had him as my doctor. Not only did he save my life (this diagnosis had me fearing for death since the moment I heard I had this), he saved my uterus (hysterectomy was very likely with this condition) safely… delivered my son, I didn’t hemorrhage and my c section incision looks pristine. I strongly believe I wouldn’t have had this outcome if Dr. Ravins wasn’t my doctor. He is a perfectionist and makes it his business to provide top of the line care to his patients. I know some reviews complain about the wait times for this practice but I promise you IT IS WORTH THE WAIT. Keep in mind every doctor at this practice is an OB and emergencies do come up at the hospital delivering babies which can make them late to appointments at the practice. But that just comes with the territory when you’re working with doctors who actually care about their patients and put the care of the patient and their baby above all else. Dr. Ravins deserves an award for the kind of care and dedication he provides to his patients. Keep up the great work!!!

I am a patient of garden obgyn and only met Dr.Steven Ravins the day of my scheduled c section. From the moment I met him I had a great vibe, he makes you feel so comfortable. This was my third c section and by far the best experience. He takes his time and the nurses said they know when they are along side with him on a s section they know they will be there for a while bc he is very meticulous with his work. My scar is perfect and my recovery was the easiest (which they usually said the more surgeries you get the worse the recovery bc if scar tissue) he applied my binder right after he finished up on the table nice and tight which helped me to get up so much easier. I would definitely recommend him!!

Dr Ravins is the most honest, caring, funny while still being professional Ob Gyn Doctor I have ever had. I had gestational diabetes through out my pregnancy which caused complications Dr. Ravins intelligently guided me through until I gave birth. During my labor, my baby's head was too big for me to deliver naturally so we were forced to change from natural birth to c-section. Dr. Ravins was there with me from practically the beginning, and also guided me through my labor, and ended up advising me we were losing my baby because his heartbeat was dropping from sitting in my birth canal too long, and we needed to perform a c section immediately to save my baby. Dr Ravins performed my c section and delivered my baby successfully. He is amazing. I recommend him to everyone.

I am blessed that I found Dr. Steven Ravins. He is more than excellent! He made sure I am in good health and well monitored with my weight, I was still slight overweight on my second and third pregnancies, and I totally understand why he was strict on weight because it does have a downside afterward your pregnancy... health wise. So for people who are reviewing about their experience of taking it too personal when the doctor try to tell you to control your weight gain, it is actually for your own good definitely. Dr. Steven, despite of his very demanding schedules, he made sure that he delivered my children whether its holiday or not, unlike other doctors I know. He is very professional and truly cares about his patients... I would give him hundred stars rating if theres such thing... Highly recommend him!

I must be honest Dr. Ravins is the best doctor/surgeon in history he has the best hands in performing gentle c section he made my experience unforgettable. After 3 weeks my insision has healed perfectly no pain and I laughed thru out the whole thing including a tube tied procedure. He promised me 9 months ago I will be pregnant after a hurtful miscarriage and he made that happen. Him and his team are caring and welcomed us in each visit as family making sure everything was perfect. Thank you doc you rock!! Erica Rosa

Great Doctors! Dr. Ravins was my main Doctor at this office, he safely delivered my baby and took excellent care of me. Cannot be more grateful to him and all the people who work at Raveco (especially Mark, Danica and Juan Carlos)

He is a great doctor. He Checked me 1 or 2 times before my delivery. I then had the luck to have him deliver my baby he was great!

Not the best bedside manner but if you can get past that, he's pretty good. A tell it like it is kind of guy (regardless of how it makes you feel)
