Rude Dr no bedside manner at all

I have been to a couple medical and cosmetic centers for consultations for my spider veins. I decided to visit Dr. Reeder (which is located much further than the other places I had been) because he was a vein specialist who treated not only the superficial purple veins, but also searched for underlining problems I might incur. There was one vein he looked at a little more closely, but chose the least invasive (and cheaper) form of treatment. My session was a little more expensive than the other centers, ($350 for 10cc of injections) but I had much more confidence in his ability to treat my veins than anywhere else. I found the other places I went quoted me 4+ treatments after seeing my legs, and Dr. Reeder said with sight injections I should only need two treatments if I wasnâ??t completely happy with the first. As far as bed side manners, I didnâ??t have a single issue. He was direct, but polite. My session was only a couple days ago, but I have already noticed a difference. … I am excited to have the confidence to wear shorts during these hot Texas summers, and sad I waited so long to get this done. I have a follow-up visit scheduled in three weeks, so I didn't rate the follow-up with a higher score.

Though my insurance didn't cover it, I still feel good as new with his treatment for spider veins. It's a noticeable difference. This doc has given me my confidence back and all I can say is "thank you!" He's wonderful and patient. I see some negative comments about the staff--I just wanna say that the front desk is very nice to me.

After visiting another Dr. locally and not being comfortable and confident with their expertise, I started researching Doctors away from my area. I live in Colleyville so going to Dr. Reeder at Medical City was not very convenient, however was worth the trips I had to make. He is very good at what he does and that is evident during the surgery. His staff was nice and I am very happy with the results, its been two years. I was really nervous but there was very little discomfort.

Wow, I can't believe the other comments. Dr. Reeder is one of the nicest doctor's I have ever met! He even called after our appointment to send an article that pertained to the diagnosis.His staff was friendly and very helpful. The ratings I gave are accurate.

This doctor impressed me as arrogant and unfriendly. He seems to think he is superior to his patient, even when the patient is well-educated and well-spoken. It's very difficult to talk frankly with him, as his attitude is extremely patronizing.
