Dr. Steven James Rivers, MD

Dr. Rivers is fantastic. He is very kind and caring. I haven't met a doctor like him in a long time. He is very knowledgeable. His staff was very nice from the time I walked through the doors until the time I left. If you are looking for a great primary care doctor I highly recommend Dr. Rivers at Rivers Family Medicine.

Kind and caring. I have been a patient for six months and he saved my life. I was a little short of breath when I arrived to a visit. He was able to run lab while I was at the office and found severe anemia. I had to go to the ER because I needed blood but was able to get an appointment with a hematologist for me that same week. I highly recommended this physician. The staff is also wonderful!

Things have changed over the years in medical practice. Dr. River’s office has been able to keep his appointments effective as he listens, ask questions, then he gives his opinion and lastly gives a plan of action. When you walk into his office, it’s like you are visiting with friends, everyone is friendly and very pleasant.

I have been going to Dr. Rivers for 3 years now and he is very compassionate. He cares about his patients. He has even called me at home to check on me. I have referred my friends to him and they feel the same way. Definitely a outstanding doctor. Sometime the wait is a little long but its worth it.

Only good I have to say would be Dr Stephanie Walker Miss her immensely!

Dr. Rivers takes his time with his patients. He is very caring and approachable. His office staff is also excellent

Dr. Rivers is outstanding. Years ago the entire office staff and MA's were all outstanding. Dr. Rivera's MA's have gone down. The lab/venipuncture MA's are still excellent as is Jenny at the front desk.

My husband and I were patients of Dr. Rivers for over 10 years. He does not listen and has his nose in his tablet the whole time you are with him (15 min.) if your lucky. He also mumbles when he talks to you. Because we did not get the care we should have, I had to find another doctor. I should have left his practice a long time ago. It has taken me almost 9 months to get better because of his mistakes.

Very preoccupied .felt I did not get the attention I should have. Very rushed!
