Summary

Dr. Roth
Throughout my life I’ve always enjoyed helping people.  As a child I had braces, and as most children do, I didn’t wear my retainers.  My teeth relapsed and became crooked again causing me to be embarrassed and not like my smile, as a result, I quit smiling.
When I was 26 a dentist at my school internship in Cape Cod bonded my teeth making them appear straight.  After my teeth were bonded I started to smile again.  My confidence increased and I started to feel great about myself. I thought if one little procedure like this could change my life around I wanted to do whatever it took to give this gift to others.  I was inspired to enroll in and graduate from Tufts school of dental medicine. Since then, I have taken 1000’s of hours of continuing education to provide the best possible service to my patients. I have received certifications in orthodontics in 1995,  Invisilign in 2001 and sedation dentistry in 2002 to name a few.
Knowing how important a smile is in one’s life, I geared most of my education to the field of Cosmetic Dentistry. It has been an honor to know that that my patients have called me an artist when it comes to creating smiles.  It makes me want to keep putting more smiles on more faces. I truly enjoy it.
It has always been a conscious effort of mine to make sure my patients leave feeling better than when they came in. When I read that 50% of people don’t go to the dentist out of fear of the pain, I made it my mission to remove the anxiety or fear associated with the dentist.  I am constantly taking personal development courses to improve myself so I can help others.  One common theme I always heard was that our mind contains all the power we need to live happy lives. Therefore,  the next chapter of education for me in addition to dentistry, was anything that helped me understand the power of the mind and empower my patients to overcome the fear.
After being introduced to the book Many Lives Many Masters by renowned Psychiatrist Brian Weiss, I discovered the best way to help someone overcome challenges in their lives was through hypnosis.  So in April 2007 I took my first course in Hypnosis; Hypnosis in Dentistry.  I learned that I was already practicing many of these techniques without even realizing it.
I finally found a way to have the patient feeling better when they leave the office than when they come in.  I am now able to offer my patients an amazing pain-free and beneficial dental experience.  Since that initial hypnosis course, I have received numerous certifications in hypnosis and continue to take additional courses to improve my skills.  I constantly research ways to have my patients have beautiful outer smiles, and lasting beautiful inner smiles!
I am living my dream and look forward to meeting you and helping you smile!
Sincerely,
Dr. Steven Roth
