Been seeing Dr. Schuckit for years, great office and great doctor.

So I called and asked how much for mole removal. I was quoted $175.00. Then I get a bill for $470.00. I call abut the bill. I tried to explain the quote and that no mention was made of the cost increase, before the 7 minute procedure was performed; but the staff member interrupted me, and talked over me. She finally agreed to look into the matter and have the doctor call me back. The doctor did not call me back, but a staff member (I believe the same one I spoke to previously) leaves me a VM, saying that I will receive an updated bill (discounted because I was paying out of pocket). I call in for an explanation of my updated bill and get similar but toned down treatment. Staff member would not give me her full name and states the doctor wrote off an amount of the bill. (as if he took a loss) Please. Reminded me of a Cable company bumping my bill, but just not as courteous. A follow up call from the doctor for all of a few minutes would have been nice. Between the visit and his follow… up time, he would have spent all of 10 minutes with me. I would give him a 5 stars on the diagnosis, except he never follow up, so I take it on faith he is correct.
