Dr. Steven Louis Shapiro, MD

Dr. Shapiro has been my doctor on 3 occassions over the last 13 years He has helped me with the pain in my feet each time. I have had surgery three times after other options did not work. I've always trusted and felt in good hands with Dr. Shapiro. He and his staff have always been wonderful and very professional.

I've been seeing a podiatrist (various over the years) since I was 18 years old. I'm now 62. Just saw Dr. Shapiro to get a "2nd opinion" on my feet. He found a fracture of the metatarsal on my right foot (it's no wonder it hurt!). My podiatrist just took X-rays a couple of months ago (my fracture goes back at least that far) and didn't pick it up. I was impressed by Dr. Shapiro's professionalism as well as his diagnosis and his office staff.

The thing I remember most clearly is that he wouldn't listen to me. He kind of disregarded our opinions on our issue despite the research we'd done before hand. Not a very welcoming visit.
