Dr. Steven Lewis Shore, MD

As an institutional pharmacist of 13 years, I have found that there are two kinds of doctors: ones that know what they are talking about and treat patients as effectively as possible, and then ones who treat by protocol and leave common sense and usage of their brain completely out of the picture. This man is type 1. He knows what he's doing and can quickly come to a diagnosis and treatment plan that actually makes sense. I already knew what was wrong with my son, but it wasn't until this man was consulted and walked in the room that he was diagnosed by a physician and treated effectively. This avoided unnecessary medications, diagnostic procedures, and surgery that I already knew weren't necessary as well as potential complications of the untreated disease. This doctor is a blessing to the pediatric medical community, and I'm so thankful he was consulted to treat our child.

but for Dr. Shore. I had periorbital cellulitis at 2 in 1985. They told my mom I'd either be blind or brain dead. I will graduate from Emory Law on Monday. I baby sat for Dr. Shore and will never be able to thank him nor account for the grace that brings me here today.

I no longer live in Atlanta but have always said that if my kids developed a serious problem, I would take them back to Dr. Shore. He's amazing.
