Dr Steven Smith, MD

Dr Smith did an excision on my lower leg for an atypical mole. He is both personable and clinically strong. The excision that I needed was extensive and it healed beautifully.

Performed a tummy tuck and Repaired two hernias. Did an excellant job. I am very happy with the results.

I brought my son Chris in to have a mole removed under his nose, Chris was nervous about it as my wife and I were, we didnt know what to expect. Dr. Smith made my son and wife feel at ease. Dr. Smith did a fantastic job. I would recommed Dr. Smith to anyone. He and his staff were fantastic! Thank you Dr. Smith!

A number of surgical procedures and all were outstanding experences. I was referred to Dr. Smith when a plastic surgeon at another hospital did not follow through taking care of issues in a timely fashion. It turned out to be the best thing that happened to me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Smith to friends, in fact I have done so. My friend was very pleased as well.

I really wish I didn't have a follow up in two weeks... I should of not gone after having such a hard time with the receptionist. It all started Wednesday at 3am when I woke up from the unbearable pain. Apparently I had an abscess on my thumb nail. After being in so much pain and being diabetic I had to have my thumb nail on my right hand removed. After being discharged I was told to call a vertebrae number for Dr. Smith inorder to follow up with him to remove the bandaging and metal (taking place of my nail). I called and spoke to a Shawana (something along those lines) and without being allowed to say anything got placed on hold. RUDE! Then she comes back on the line after several minutes on hold and I mentioned I needed to schedule an appointment for a follow up, remove banding, etc. She repeated what I stated to her and asked where I was being attended at previously. After a barely two minute conversation. I was asked to hold. Thirty additional minutes later, I hung up and… called again. Same lady picked up and I quickly told her who I was and didn't appreciate being on hold for 30 minutes. Finally being able to schedule my APT (not something I wanted to go through after having an all nighter at the ER). I go in 15min earlier to fill out paperwork as I was told. The staff (2 front desk ladies) were wonderful and attentive. I finished the paperwork and probably waited five minutes, not even. Was greeted kindly by some assistant and even as she tried to remove the bandaging was very helpful, nice and compassionate to the fact I was still in pain... UNTIL the doctor arrived. He finished removing the bandaging that was stuck to the nail with no hesitation. Talk about ripping the bandage from a wound! I yelled out in pain. Looking away he removed the stiching and the metal from my thumb even though I screamed in pain. Said he would place an antibiotic ointment on my thumb so the bandaging won't "stick too much", to wash it once a day with water and soap, change the bandaging once a day, keep it clean and no submerging my hand in the pool or ocean. After that stated he wanted to see me in two weeks for a follow up and handed me the paper. Talk about, feeling kicked out. I got up and left without being able to ask any questions or knowing how to do anything. Dreading the fact I have to go back! I felt like they just wanted to bill my insurance and get me out! Never recommending to anyone! Makes me wish I had more thumbs so I can give him more thumbs down!

Did a great job with some minor surgery I had in the office

Wow, Dr. Smith was the best doctor I ever had.

He was good to me I had reconstruction surgery to my eye,And it dont even seem like I had surgery.My eye look so good thanks to Dr.Smith.

Dr. Smith took care of my three year old daughter who needed a skin graph on her foot. We had gone to CCMC and things were not handled as they should have. The best thing they did was to send us to Dr. Smith.
