I highly recommend Dr Vandor, he is very knowledgable, personable and a good listener. Dr. Vandor is everything you could want in a doctor. His compassionate nature puts you at ease during your visit and comfortable to discuss all your concerns. He shows that he truly cares about you as one of his patients. I have never once felt rushed out of his office. He is very thorough when answering any of your questions and explaining medical treatments. He has a great bedside manner and I trust him 100%! His support and encouragement through these years has meant the world to me!!!

Dr Vandor is always taking time to listen to you and explain things that you understand. The best Dr I ever had!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Vandor's for several years. Very personal, knows my background when I am at my appointment, a proponent of preventive maintenance. Was concerned when I had blood in my urine for no reason, referred me to a urologist who discovered the reason for it. Ended up I had stage 1 ovarian cancer. He was a part of saving my life.

Dr. Vandor is the first Dr. to listen to my real pain. The inside pain most Dr.s just don't care to hear. Because of his support and encouragement he has shown me, I have started a whole new life. The world needs more Dr. Steven Vandors! Thank you from my heart for the new life you gave me Dr. Vandor!

I am seeing Dr. Vandor for a very specific reason. It was a desperate decision I forced myself to make. Dr. Vandor has been so compassionate, so helpful, understanding, and non discriminatory towards me. I can't tell you how comfortable he makes me feel when I see him. I actually want to see him a lot more than what I am, which is pretty unusual being a doctor and all. I have complete trust in him - trust with my future, my life!

I see Dr Vandor in his Newton office. He is great in many ways. He pays attention to what you say and uses it in his diagnosis. No god complex. He doesn't over order tests and sends you to a specialist if more answers are needed. It is a reasonably large office with several doctors who are great. The big drawback is the office staff. They can be rude, don't always follow up on messages or instructions, don't forward medical test info, can be arrogant and even question whether you need an appointment to the extent of refusing to make one for you.

I have been under Dr. Vandor's care for a workman's comp injury. He is more like talking to an old friend instead of a doctor. He and his staff have given me thr utmost care, compassion, and genuine concern in my case. Dr. Vandor has been fighting aggressively for me to get the proper treatments, and they don't give up!

Dr. Vandor is an exceptional physician. He has many patients in his care, yet remembers details. He says to call him for follow up and he actually calls back. He manages health conditions with his vast knowledge yet knows when a specialist is necessary. I leave his office with a sense that he truly cares about his patients. I can't imagine trusting a doctor more.

Dr. Vandor, in my experience, is the best primary care physician I've had the pleasure to work with for the past few years. His knowledge and understanding of modern medicine and the techniques utilized in todays medical environment is profound and simply incredible. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Vandor and wish everyone had a primary care physician as wonderful as he is.
